Ultimately, this subject is completely pointless. Mark Levin and Al Gore both wrote books-BIG DEAL. Gore wants to scare you, Levin wants to bash Democrats. They are BOTH making money from emotional issues. Face it! The CLIMATE of this EARTH is beyond our control. As an ECOSYSTEM, the human race is a virus to the host organism-EARTH. We are a transient population on this planet, which will be here for another billion years or so after we have burned ourselves out. No one is immortal.

No one is saying that scientests are demigods: only that scientific matters should be left up to them. Global warming is a gradual phenomenon, and Al Gore´s version predicted something a bit too soon. However, if you pump the atmosphere full of green house gasses, it is common sense that more heat will be trapped in our planet and therefore it will get warmer.

Mark Levin is a whiner and a closed minded buffoon. I read Liberty and Tyranny (twice). The most important lesson that you can take from his book is this. He believes that STATISTS are taking our rights away from us, using examples of Democratic policy to support his arguments. What he is forgetting (or ingoring??) is that there are plenty of REPUBLICAN STATISTS also. We live in an Oligarchy, NOT a Democracy or a Republic. Until greed is taken from the equation, this is how we will live.

You see, Everyone in the world believes in climate change. I believe in the winter, the climate gets cooler, and vice versa in the summer. But the Marxists figured out a way to TAX human activety. And that's what this hoax is really all about. Taxing CO2 (also known as "Carbon emissions".

THX, wildcat! That is the whole thrust of the argument. If human beings think that they can control the WEATHER or the CLIMATE, then they exhibit the most profound arrogance. If you can't make it to work on time or balance the (ANY) budget, what makes you think you can have any effect on the climate of this planet?

Scare tactics for more tax dollars is what this is about. The Cold War is over, what next?

@3rdworldinvasion2 <---You have it BACKWARDS, my friend. Plants absorb CO2 and turn it into OXYGEN thru the process known as PHOTOSYNTHESIS. One of the reasons we see an increase in CO2 is because Corporate Development on a global scale is slowly defoliating the planet. Less plants, more CO2. We should be more concerned about Oxides of Nitrogen that are produced by incomplete combustion of fossil fuels-mainly car exhaust from burning gasoline inefficiently. Read some books, please....
