I have to disagree with some of your comparisons. Riley is not at all Marco. Sure they are both gay, but that is the only thing they have in common. As for Alli, I'd say she's more of an Alex/Manny hybrid, Clare a Darcy/Emma/Liberty hybrid and Anya.. well I'm not even sure about her, but she's no Darcy or Emma.

I think this promo gave Clare more of a voice and an opinion. In the show she seems to stick up for Connor, but you never really hear that much about her, and how she feels. I wish she was more like this in the show. But now her character in season 9 is boring. Bring back this Clare
