I am praying the President re-evaluates his new proposed tax brackets. As it now sits the middle class Americans making $58.000 or a bit more will have to pay what breaks down to $500.00 a month in taxes. I don't know about you but we cannot afford that. We are not rich. President Obama needs to raise that tax bracket up to at least $70.000 a year. My family has supported President Obama and the democratic party. I pray they realise we are not rich and cannot afford a tax hit like that one.

Republicans increase spending and decrease taxes. That's why national debt increases during times of Republican presidents in office.  But you also have to look at what kind of Congress was in place, and usually it is Republican Congress for each Democrat president, and vice versa.
