Actually my mini schnauzer love carrots too. They are actually some of the better and low costing treats you can give to a dog. It's healthy, crunchy, good for the digestive system, and delicious. It's easier than buying expensive brand treats but like anything you can have too much of a good thing.

My Dal, she's spoiled (my grandfather's fault). Sit a piece of meat or something yummy down and she's right on it. However, set something that is NOT meat down, the only way she'll eat it is if she knows that that is it, that that is all that is going to be given to her. It's comical.

She's got manners too. She won't enter a room or cross a doorway unless she is invited in. She'll just sit there otherwise, looking at you. She's so silly...and so old, at least 10+ years now. Wow...

I've owned Dalmatians for nearly 50 years and most have eaten carrots but it's only my present bunch who will even look at other vegetables. I think they're evolving.

My Dal loves carrots but the spoiled little princess will only eat them if they are scliced thin about the thickness of coins. Otherwise she spits the chalf chewed carrot pieces on the floor. Would love to be able to just hand her a whole carrot and let her go.

we also had 4 dalmatians"had to put 1 down" yours are beautiful! we are keeping an eye out for pups they"re hard to find, & much more expensive now . we got ours 11yrs ago. do u breed them?? i ' m glad mine DONT eat carrots i go through too many with my horses as it is!! keep the videos coming we really enjoyed that.

Mine loves carrots too!!! I thought it was really weird because I've got a Bunny too and she always stills carrots from him, it's really funny! She always waits for my Bunny's dinner time LOL

Most dogs love carrots and they are not harmful to them. It helps with the rooting of a dog (my dog doesn't eat grass anymore because I give her carrots - in moderation). Dogs root (denning , if you like) and it's natural for them to do that, so carrots help with that process.
