Installer was created before Cydia and is hardly used anymore cause Cydia has just grown so much. I remember getting Installer on 1.1.4 but that was in the past.

you should install ilog, it does what smsd, and callid did, i try smsd, and callid, in my 1.1.4 firmware and it did not work... ilog does it just fine too, dont worry about calls and sms you dont want in your phone
