  • wonderful ......

  • Wah, Singh ney phatte chakditte!

  • Wonderful performance right in the midst of all the other great Dhrupada masters in Varanasi. Thanks to guys like him, Panjab's heritage music has finally got a worthy voice amongst the 'traditional' gharana masters. Keep it up (please!!! Im not to partial to all this new rubbish that they keep flooding the airwaves with).

  • To all u idiots who just critize for nothing,i dont see u people performing prestigious place where BBS is playing now and infront of top pakhawaj players you'll shit in your pants if u was in his place.instead of critize why dont u learn and understand what BBS is playing,.Its easy yapping around, but when u r on the stage,is a different ball game i would like u people to sit on a stage in front of musician (not mickey mouse or wannabes) and come back home safe and dry.Brilliant playing BBS

  • Your laughter (R)SG is the laughter of a loser & ur metaphors are all wonky. Since when have the cats taken to self-glorification? If you cannot understand the difference between the Amritsari baaz - of which BBS is the only authentic representative and khalifa - & drama-baaz - which u seem to so unfortunately psycho(mis)analyse. U seem to be neurotically stuck at the word 'pakhandi' but have nothing to say about BBS' music per se. BTW u are NOT the 'people' unless u delude urself 2b God!

  • waaah.. kya baat hai ji...bhai baldeep singh ji is a great person..his charm and humble, informative nature should NOT be misunderstood as being drama..he is a GEM for the great things he is doing for keeping great traditions alive..thank u for sharing..

  • He may be a Drama maker but look what stage the sikh jori is sitting on, not many people have even seen the instrument let alone know about it. At least there are people who keep the sikh musical tradition of jori around.

  • We cannot agree more with your observation, sir,

BBS is the one who brought instrument Jori on international stage in fact, people thought tabla was Jori before BBS came along. In many a concerts playing with BBS, Ustad Pinkyji has acknowledged that it is BBS who is responsible for re-establishing this instrument. Before, it was used only as chutni or pickle during tabla solos. BBS has brought back this instrument & provided space on the world stage. His hand is considered chaste.

    anad team

  • hahaha look at this self-glorifying cat! this is nne other than Mr.Drama-baaj BBS.

get a life man n Stop th pakhandi behaviour n people will not make fun of u!

  • Dear Junta, You are mistaken again. When I write, I write from my own login, bhaibaldeep.

People are actually realizing your pakhand here. I mean what is ur name? when have you known me? I have no memory of a Gurjant Singh? Who is ur informant?

Moreover, I do not hide behind pseudonyms, you do!

In any case, why is my glory bothering you? Do you consider yourself one of my competitors? Or, is it simply that your joy and dignity are indirectly proportional to my glory, praise and celebration?

  • FYI

I am actually proud of this performance. To have some of the finest dhrupad and pakhawaj performers in in the audience and prove to them (with plenty of fire and enthusiasm) the grandeur of Punjab Baaj.

You have not the eye to see (sorry! I do not expect a miracle any time soon either) that these are some of the most important performances that have re-established (again) Punjabi heritage as being second to none!

Speculation, assumption, haste, interpretation, it seems, are ur only tools.

  • aah! I see its not you then!

It just happens to be that u accidentally put ur true age on both the accounts!

    ur caught again!

    at least admit it man.

stop making me embarass u more.

u've nice people like 'Bairagan' fooled here, try to be honest for their goodness atleast!

ps. interesting how mr. BBS writes back when I say something to anadfoundation... ! caught again! ur not v. good at lying, yet u wont stop will u?

  • FYI

Both accounts are opened up by me. One is my personal and the other is the Foundations. As usual you have the ability to see things as they not are!

I personally moderate my own account.

This response from you is yet another distraction from my comment to you. You are yet to respond to my other posts to your highness?

Unless you talk of substance and engage in a constructive dialogue for which these avenues are, I shall have to withdraw from any conversation with you.

  • BTW, For my personal posting I do not need another account.

One must make sure to avoid being irresponsible, mannerless and bereft of any social etiquette. You have not the courage of taking a differing view in your stride, isn't it?

There is not a single post by you which would show some wisdom & understanding of anything. Not even your 450 caliber shot was correct.

What is it that you want? Be straight forward? What are you afraid off? Why are you needing to hide and lie about your identity?

  • Junta450, you do not embarrass me. I feel only sad to see you in this shape?

You do not have a teacher do you? You just need some ironing, some honing. I do see some virtues such as courage and an ability to stand and argue only that substance and direction is needed. Find a good teacher.

    I once wrote in a magazine (1999 I think):

To fight you need a gun,

    to fire ammunition,

to point to and shoot - a master to show direction,

Usage defines a man, a fool and a demon.

    I hope this is helpful.

  • Please do not assume "niceness" is based on blindness or gullibility. If it were so why would we pray dekh ke andith kita? We see and then choose. No one makes us do anything. It is always a choice. With eyes wide open I see a human being working very hard to discover kirtan and share his discoveries in the hopes of preserving for the future. If someone wants to offer me a diamond I'm not going to complain about the box it's presented in. (A closer look may change perception of the box anyway)

  • An afterthought...

It seems you are (quite some) in a state of obsession (with me). I would say, it is pretty flattering.

  • Can you imagine a world in which the people who care passionately about the tradition and heritage of Sikh Kirtan spent their time helping each other save their common treasure from being lost in a globalized modern age instead of spending their time finding fault with each other's humanity? What resources would be available to inspire the children to see the beauty of the gifts we have been given? We have to see it to share it. Tere bhane sarbat dat bhala!! Do we mean it when we pray it?

  • What a drama maker!! U should be an actor

  • Yes indeed, it seems he is an actor! but, aren't we all one?
