I just recently got divorced and we had a beautiful little girl together, we split our time 50/50 but when my daughter is not with me I miss her a lot. I love this song so much. I cry everytime I hear it. Not because I am separated from my wife and can't see my kid, but because I want to have a kid soooo bad but all my wife's pregnancies has ended up in miscarriages. Four in all. Thanks for putting this up.
This song reminds me of my own father. I was in Foster care, and when it was bedtime I was able to talk to my biological father and to be able to say goodnight.
I was adopted several months after that. I couldnt talk to him anymore and that really made me cry. Now after 13 years, i find him and he treats me like crap. I really wanted an apology, but guess what? I didnt get an apology, but I did get an explanation of why he had to give me up. I dont understand why I listen to this song if I cry.
this song says so much about fathers and daughters everyone whos father is alive should be really greatful cuz one day u wont a father so dont take him for granted
@renaelynn100 I know what you are trying to say about being grateful. My biological father doesnt talk to me anymore so I dont really know where he is. I love him but I dont love his actions. I have a wonderful adoptive dad and he is amazing. I love him to death.
my parents have my daughter right now while i get my life in order and it kills me not having her. so when i first heard this song it broke my heart i listen to it all the time.

I live in Michigan and my Dad lives in Chicago and comes home on Friday and leaves on Sunday.....just to pay the bills. I only see my dad for a day and a half. Sometimes its hard though because I cry whenever I talk to him on the phone when he asks how I'm doing and I have to tell him that I'm not doing well and its because hes not here.

i am a newly single mama and i honestly feel bad for my kids and their dad even though we parted. it was mutal but i see my kids and how sad the are after they talk to him. but hes there for them and thats what matters. Why can't all father's feel this way about thier children? To love them with everything they got?
I know that I'm going to feel this way everyday when I leave for a year to fight for my country...I'm fighting for them.
