  • I don't want to see videos of fatties trying to start a bike or just sitting on them reving the engine. We've all seen and heard RD 400's. Show us what dat thangs got baby! Tac dat s.o.b. up, pop dat clutch boiee, lay down some rubber fool!

  • 2t RULZ!

  • No worries mate. Personally I start it and ride almost immediately. I just ride it gently for the first few miles till it warms

  • sorry quick Question: just got a RD400 and wondering your start up ritual to warm the engine, do you just leave it idle for two minute, take it easy for the first few miles??

  • Might pick up an RD400 tomorrow. Dude said last he started it on 8 kicks, anybody know how to make it start easier?

  • @UrbanHax it may need a fresh top end

  • @UrbanHax close а throttle (cholck i forgot how to say right ,one stuff on carburator )

  • @UrbanHax check your plugs for fouling and use your choke

  • never trust a dude with two first names.

    remember that.

  • its already running isnt it!?!

  • that's what i thought.

  • That took some starting. I hope my RD200 starts better when I get it.

  • that must have been one cold engine!

  • Excellent stuff....The aircooled RD club is having its rally at Ashbourne in Derbyshire, UK, on 13/14/15 July 2007. Biggest RD get together in the world. Over 130 RD's on the Saturday rideout in 2006.

    Check out the club site.
