No DeWalt? It's the only brand hubby will use unless he's at the cabin where he uses his dads tools - after 15 yrs of having them I don't think he's had to replace a battery yet because it wouldn't take a charge (I could be wrong)
WOW! I've never used a drill and thought I'd check out how to do use one and you guys are so hard on each other, the products and the host I'm afraid to touch one.
@TheForza1000 Ha. Thanks. I thought about this just might be testosterone banter and nothing more. So I'm back on the quest to learn how to use tools without fear. They are intimidating.
@enoughsaidatl ; Tools are all about getting the job done and earning the money but they have got to look good too but toughness and reliability are number one.
Nothing to fear with power tools accidents are usually caused by rushing, i always think about where my hand is when using a skil saw so if it kicks back i know its not going anywhere near me, but sharp blades and drill bits help to keep tools safer.
you dont need safety glasses for driving in a stupid screw and there is no danger in holding the chuck when the drill is on, thats how your surposed to tighten the bit
the clutch alos helps to perfectly count sink the screws to and it also helps to not have to hav a dry wall gun as well once you find the right setting for drywall ..
All you are fricken crazy.....my Hilti will will put a hole in GOD!.........(sfh 18-a cpc 18v cordless hammer drill) ....heavier then shit but i drill steel all day with it....so take all your fricken crap, throw it away, and come see me when your shits got 750 pounds of torque......hands down your dewalt (broke em) milwaukee(broke it) or your ugly ass rigid aint got shit........i might listen if you bring up bosch...but only for a sec
@kingzoltan77 Compare Hilti SFH-18 with any of the Milwaukee M18 drills and tell me if you stand still on your position. And before you throw me that kind of false statement, "you're wrong they're about the same price".
@kingzoltan77 Facts : Hilti as a UNCONDITIONAL 2 year base waranty BUT as also a written lifetime warranty make any repair for tear and wear ( or even for abuse) will never cost you more than 30% of the retail value of the tool. Seriously, 15 years ago I had agree with you but since they are all made in china Milwaukee is more a "weekender" brand. Gearing are all plastic and batteries are all low in Ah... But it's more fashionable to have Milwaukee than a Ryobi.
@calisaetia Take a picture I wanna see ! Most of new Milwaukee's products are now coming with "sealed" gearcase so you can't actually look at the gears unless you tear the gearcase itself which is, yes, all metal but planetary is a combination of metal and... plastic.
@cp120x Oh and BTW we're talking about cordless, of course 4720, 4004, 5342 and similar products are all metals... I've never seen whatsoever the barnd a diamond core with plastic !
@cp120x Held my drill in one hand and my bosses new Hitachi in the other, mine feels like a brick compared to his. And you can hear and feel it as well. If i put my drill to the fastest speed and just let it rip it'll twist my hand to the side slightly. My bosses Hitachi feels weak. And you can hear my drill rev alot louder and faster.
this guy has no idea you always buy the best MILWAUKEE!!!!!! bought the new makita broke on 2 days of ue teeth in chuck bend and stripped tried ne v18 milwaukee amazing use them all day non stop can step on them well drilling hole get so hot i cant keep my hand on the top but they keep goin and the mikitas were there new ones too.
bla-bla-bla!!!

You are good with drills huh? What about camera quality?
LWStormer 2 months ago
Top drills are Hilti, Metabo, Makita , Bosch, Aeg etc. dewalt is ok but has lost its appeal since the celebrity diyers favour the brand.

If you dont want any problem ,and you want the longest lifetime out from your tool you go to buy only MILWAUKEE POWER TOOLS!They never let you down!
kingzoltan77 3 years ago 8
Um NO!, you go with DEWALT!!! DEWALT is king of cordless! Have you even see their 28V and 36V line.
Plus DEWALT is the only brand that has a 18V cordless nailer!
