The sound and the vid are a little out of sink in a few places. This live, no dubs. Russ can pull off his recorded vocals live anytime. Got a great voice. Toronto home crowds are notoriously lame.

I love the songs, but I am disturbed by the singer in that...a few times, he was in the process of bringing the mic to his mouth when the vocal started. You see, on the live stage, Dynamic mics are used. If the mic is a distance from your mouth, your voice SOUNDS distant. His voice sounded full-on while the mic looked to be 12 inches away from his mouth. This makes me suspicious! I REALLY hope I am wrong about this mic concern.

Man his vocals are right along with the rest of the band . My brothers band Lawless opened up for them on the big deal tour here in Portland Or.. I was a little to young to go along with my other two brothers to see them that sucked.

Saw these guys live in the 80's,and thought even then, that the guitarist and bass player just were'nt in to it! If they had shared the same enegy as the singer I think they would have made it big time!!

This is because, unlike most of the poser bands of the eighties, these boys play more than barre chords and roots. That is the Bass player actually plays a rhythm part not just root notes and the guitarist plays more than just barre chords. There is actual melody in the playing. No room to pose. Let the front man do his job. The band needs to play. These guys are as tight on stage as in the studio. Can't say that about a lot of bands.

I think he's the only guy ever whose stage moves include doing a somersault on his head. He's been taking care of himself too, looking pretty good. Still sings good too.
