malchik gay is a song about a woman's hopeless struggle to get the attention of a gay man. remember the sexual orientation of lena and yulia [collectively: tatu] has no influence on the female voice of the singer in the song. common knowledge states there's a difference between the author, and the voice of a song, or written piece of literature. that in tow, the song is not about gay people; but most likely, only about one gay person; specifically the man.

in my video, rinoa is the woman seeking attention and squall is the gay man. though this is not so in the videogame; you must remember that this is just a fan made video and anything goes. i needed a story; tatu delivered.

well, I know that. I analyzed the lyrics before making the video. When I made this video, i wanted it so that it wasnt like most other videos where people just squish 'cool' scenes together and add music. I wanted it to have a general theme..or plot, kind of. And thus I had to make Squall gay for the sake of my video :)
