I'm not at all familiar w/ japan's legal system. Are police officers allowed to give chase? What's the burden of proof for the offense? Do they destroy the vehicle once impounded or is it released after the fine is paid?

I ask because I'm considering transporting my 1000hp vette over there.

@xcessivecc As you have been told. Good luck with that LOL this wasn't filmed yesterday, police have started jumping on the drifters but its still possible. Its a matter of being in the right place at the right time but if you know who to talk with and meet on the street well you have a chance.

Bad ass video loved it btw im new to drifting any words of advice? i grew up around drag racing and im driving a 1995 mustang so im not sure if that means i have to do anything special or not any way any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

@ghostrider7890123 Hey dude thanks for the nice comments. If you are only new to drifting the only advice I can give is get out there and try. Check out the Drift Bible by Tsuchiya. Another thing would be to get rid of the heavy old mustang and move into something Japanese. Now in no way am I saying only JDM cars can drift but its where it all started and they Japanese have a HUGE range of after market parts dedicated to drifting. Check out the 240SX etc.

@ghostrider7890123 i agree with driftlab but the mustang can drift just as good as Japanese cars can & a 95 mustang is a pretty cheap car for after market parts to get you drifting i have a 07 mustang and its mainly for drag racing but i do some drifting with it to main thing to replace fords live rear end and get a posey one & then suspension work any car can drift as long as you set it up right and your skill idk where you live but i practice alot on the ice in winter or throw the mountains
