  • you know a shower would be easier & cheaper ? i mean you'd waste waayy less water

  • I always just lean forward over the tub under the spout!

  • is it really worth it

  • i would remove my watch before I engage in this activity...

  • HOW do you do that? I tried washing my hair bent over like that once and I felt like my neck was going to snap.

  • You are scary

  • did the henna stain your tub?

  • dang that water got DARK!

  • at first i thought the henna was her hair in the picture it shows i like how the water changes colors i figure its so cool

  • OUCH!!! *o*

  • soaking henna in water does work better than trying to rinse it, but that's a lot of water if you fill your whole tub, then you have to clean the tub too. I bought a plastic shampoo basin (okay it's a super cheap plastic cat litter box) fill that with warm water and dunk before I shower.

  • You could just take off ur clothes...go IN the tub...wash ur hair..and not record it...

  • @TheChej i have been in a shower for 30 mins amd its not as much water as you think well not as much as whats in her tub and plus she is just using it to wash out her hair which im pretty sure henna was probably still in it since the henna is all in the water it will still be on her hair and im pretty sure she also took a shower, she could have just let the water run through her hair and wash her body at the same time used less water than she really needed

  • whats henna?

  • Man i swear..When water is a dark color specially brown i get scared to put my hand down in it o.o

  • Great video. This is the same way I rinse my henna and indigo out. I use Suave Coconut conditioner or VO5 conditioner to rinse the final bit of henna and indigo out.

  • YOU INTRO SONG IS STUCK IN MY HEAD!!!!

  • You must do yoga or something LOL

  • that looks painful on your back. And it look like a mud bath.

  • Seems like a waste of water...pretty hair though

  • lol u should have put your head in the other way :p

  • JK!

  • Dang thats alot of hair!

  • it looks like you have longer hair in the tub!

  • that's not environmentally friendly.

  • Why not use your sink and face the water?

What is henna? Is it a natural dye?

  • @jessicascorpio1 yes, its made with plants

  • @DudeDudovsky Thanks! :)

  • I just use my sink. What is henna? Is it a natural dye?

  • y not juz hav a shower daz wat i do

  • what is a henna?

  • @ThePrincessniece Yes you should be scared. Soon your gonna lose all color in hair and will like your grandma. Thats a lesson of accepting your hair the way it is. Unless you wanna have horrible hair and look at it in the mirrior everyday Jump into the Grand Canyon. looool jk. look it up on google

  • wow great waste of water now i know y we are running low on drinking water. pff you couldnt just get in the shower and rinse the shit out??

  • @Bigbootyredbone1 "Great waste of water"?? While your saying she wasting water, she said it would of taken 30 min to rinse that out in the shower, she'll waste more water in the shower because the water is constantly running, than what she's doing now, LOL!!

  • Well Ok...I would never be able to do this backed up to the tub thing. Is there something wrong with using the kitchen sink or shower?

  • what does henna do for your hair?

  • THE COLOR LOOKS THE SAME AS WHEN U STARTED!!!!

  • that tub is nice

  • i love that tub

  • I am out of the loop, but what is the purpose of henna? What is it supposed to do. I have been seeing it a lot on the internet.

  • Nice technique but my back was hurtin while i was watchin..lol

  • how lovely to be a woman

the wait was well worth while.lol.

  • I will definitely be getting that. Thank you so much Robin, I will definitely be doing this method. This is like making your own lace front.. LOL

  • rofl, girl I do this when i dont feel like getting back in the shower to wash out my conditioner and I be feeling like a durn fool..lol glad to know I'm not the only person who does this method lol

  • your watch went under water

  • *below* she said henna strengthens hair& gives it a bergendy tint ..

and btw next time fold a thick bath towl and put it over th edge for sum cushion for ur back. and this trick helps when i dye :)

  • what dose henna do for hair?

  • I didnt know u was a gymnast!!!! ahaaaaa!

  • nice! i use red henna for my brown hair

  • Your back is bound to be sore after all that - 1:54

I would just get into a show to avoid that back pain.... i though bending front ways was bad enough... but then a agin you can rest your back on the edge of your bath; again not very comfy; but you can lay a cushion behind your back the next time when bent backwards like that XD .

  • whats henna?

  • "ow i got it in my eye. its in my eye/....the stuff i do for you people..." puahah

  • this is super random...i love your tub...

lol ooh it looks like i wasn't the only one thinking that!

  • I like your video...but my question is..why do you feel you have to deep condition after doing a henna. Isn't henna enough to make your hair strong? Or would your hair be too dry after the henna even though stronger?

  • you have a nice bath tub!

  • nice tub but it looks like you could hurt your back and STAIN the tub too. makes sense though because the stuff is so thick. Also I did the henna thing today and i got that you need a beautyshop sink. They should make those for us. I would love to have a beauty shop sink. seems like you are just washingt it back in the hair. how does it clean it??? i hope you do not have any back injuries. nice video clip.

  • I thought u weren't supposed to wash with shampoo immediately following a henna.

  • i LOVE your tub!!!

  • TY!

  • @Ifeelpurpleful me too itt looks awesome!!!

  • that would hav hurt more than my back, my neck would have cried out for mercy gal

  • HAHA! It was!

  • A inexpensive shower chair, removable shower head (attached to a hose), is the easiest method and works the best simply because it takes multiple rinsing before henna is removed completely.

  • ty!

  • lol !! my back hurts just watching you!!! I used henna years ago but that before I wore locs. Now that I have locs, can I go back to using henna or not? Any particular brand to look out for?

  • HAHA! My back was on fire!! But it works! I know people do use it, you just have to make sure to get it all out! Jamilla is a good brand of henna! Just make sure you get body art quality henna!

  • AND your hair is so pretty!

  • TY!

  • Wow. I just watched all four henna vids. I want to try this now that I have learned it won't change your hair color. Would it be too much if I used it once a month and still used my alma/maka/shikakai paste? Or could I add henna to the other hair powders? I am off to do some RESEARCH. Thank you for thes vids! *hits the subscribe button"

  • TY! Now henna will turn your hair colors if you leave it on long and let the color release. Just mix it up and apply it right away! Do not use a turp either which is the lemon juice or vinegar, because this will help release the dye. For the strengthener aspects just mix it with conditioner and oils like alma.

  • Okay. I am convinced. :-) I will give it a try!

  • Let me know how it goes!!!

  • oh okay because i want the color of my hair to stay the same lol. and where can you buy henna? and for how muchh?

  • Check your local indian grocery or on line. usually online they run about 7 dollars a box or so.

  • i really want to henna because i heard it increases thickness, i was wondering did the henna color your hair at all?

  • It does give my hair a slight red highlight but nothing to dark! If you just want the thickening results, don't leave it on that long and don't let the color release, just put it on after you mix it.

  • hi... i posted something like this on LHCF some years ago. i rinse it in a tub full of water. i guess they really didn't understand what i meant. some ladies said how it didn't rinse out properly and it was henna residue left. so i am glad you beat me in posting a video. LOL nice work.

  • Why thank you Nikko's cousin lol!

  • dmn thats the kinda tub i want to put in my house lol girl you to damn flexable haha thanks for sharing the henna process i never knew what the hell it was : I HEAR THE BABY BACK THERE JUSTA TALKN AWAY TOOO CUTE:)

  • It was mandatory when we were house shopping! I always wanted a garden tub too! You should really try the henna though! And yes she is a chatty Cathy!

  • What kinda freaky video you making??? Oh it's hair LOL ok. As long as I don't see your DH sneaking up in there lol that would be TMI ROFL!!! Are you still doing Insanity? You know it killed like everyone on LHCF right? LOL!

  • ROFLMAO! Girl I haven't done insanity in a hot minute! I have been working like 100 something hours a pay period to pay off bills and get ready for Christmas! I am going to start back, but i'm going to tweak my routine a bit!

  • wow ! i'd like to do that when i rinse mine, but everytime i have my head like that i end up with tangles ! isn't it weird? cause i have no pb when i rinse in the shower head down my back... pfff, whatever just rambling to say tks for this video, lol

  • TY! For watching! I get tangles if I bend forward lol! This just works for me!

  • o lawd i cant even bend like that without given myself a headache

  • lol! TY for watching!!

  • Don't try this at home children lol!!!!

  • LOL! TY! For watching!

  • ahah Yo Gabba yo gabba Jonelle doesn't watch but them BACKYARDIGANS are HILARIOUS...

  • My daughter loves them to there so cute!

  • you could bend forward over the tub and pour the water over ur head w/ a big measuring cup... thats how my mom always washed my hair as a child...

  • I don't do it that way, because it tangles my hair, but TY!

  • Lots of water here.

  • yup

  • So this is going to sound super gross but did anyone watch that Nip/Tuck episode when Dr. Christian Troy had that crazy actress over in the hot tub and she lost her... umm self in the tub...well that bath water reminds me of that. Sorry I know I watch wayyy to much tv! haha Nip/Tuck's final season is coming soon!

But as far as the tip... My back would be hurting like no other! You are a strong woman. I'd have to do something else.

  • HAHA! No I have never seen that show, but I heard its a good show! I was sitting on a step stool, but the arching does hurt my back, but just doing that for a few minutes versus fighting with my hair for 30 minutes was way better!

  • True... I can totally see how that's easier.. thats how I used to rinse my hair in the bathtub when I was a little kid. Wash day was the only time I could get my hair wet in the bathtub! My mom used to let me lay down on my back in the tub and swoosh my head around. Its really is a great rinse method! haha

  • looks good

  • TY!
