why do you discard the shotgun shells if you can sell them?

Eh, throughout all these "only" runs, I never needed to shop for items, as I had what I needed (and MUCH, MUCH more), so I just get rid of what doesn't belong in my suitcase. :P

Considering that they went down to 187, it was nearly not enough. ;D
