  • Oh man that second sturgeon was smoking line

  • Get those rods out of the water for poor old rowdy Rod!!!

  • Great video, loved it

  • You guys, this video is so cool! Congrats!

  • @miguelpah Thanks. :) Part two will be available on November 8th.

  • @fishingwithrod I can believe a fish the size of a sturgeon jumps, they are such prehistoric looking fish, whats the best time of year to fish for them?

  • @TheCaptainQuinn The best month of the year for this fishing, in my opinion, is in October when salmon began spawning in tributaries of the Fraser River. :)

  • @miguelpah Thanks! More fish to come in part two. ;)

  • Nice Video as allways And Love how this one dont end right after i klicked it Thx :D

  • @jegerover18ar We'll always have long features once or twice a month. :) Part two of this video will be available on November 8th.

  • @fishingwithrod Okay Nice well can't whaite for the next one! :)

  • Awesome Video. Sturgeon are running up stream here in Sacramento CA at the moment. Can't wait to get my dads boat out there on the Sacramento River to do some sturgeon fishing.

  • AMAZING

  • That's exactly the sound I want to hear after a day of live spawning broodstock O. Mykiss.

Laughed as you made that hook-set and asked if anyone else wanted it. Reminds me of catching oversized after oversized with a few buddies until no one wants to actually fight the fish, but are more than willing set hooks.

    Good times.

  • @ReallyPsilly Yep. Setting the hook is the best part in this fishery IMO. ;)

We were fishing with three individuals who have never fished before so it was great for me to set the hook each time and hand the rod to each of them, who had no idea what they were getting themselves into. :D

  • great vid !!!! are those white sturgeon?

  • @cory8791 Thanks. Yes they are white sturgeon, from the Lower Fraser River in Southern BC but they also travel up the Harrison River.

  • More Muscles man!!!!

  • I caught an 9 pound hatchery coho just above the bridge there :)

  • @INSANETORQUEBOW Nice, I was itching to cast a spoon for coho that day. ;)

  • how much would a trip like this cost? i'm looking forward to a trip like this in the near future =D

  • @newboykool For the fishing trip, it's best if you have three friends to come along as the boat usually caters a group of four. With four people, it should be anywhere between $100 and $200, depending on how long your trip is. You can either do four or eight hours. Some people choose to do four hours of sturgeon fishing and four hours of salmon fishing. Make sure you do it in October, that's usually the best month. ;)

  • @fishingwithrod ohoh

    thanks =]

  • Awesome video Rod! Looks like a blast.
