Cracking little pedal this. Sturdy, fluid and had the feel of a more expensive pedal. I paid around £130 which is great value for money compared to budget pedals made by the bigger brands. You get shit loads of pro features like the double chain drive making it even smoother.
@cameronappleyard1997 i just have the 669, that's why i can tell you that i don't recommend it. i haven't bought a new pedal yet. but the one in the video's got a quite good rating overall and has a low price (99 €) so it's probably sufficient for a beginner.
I'm a guitar player and i'm learning drums with a really bad drumset, I'm a metalhead so I play pretty much metal only, do you recommend me getting this pedal or gettin better toms before a doublebass pedal?
@nonpoint666rocks The way I went was that I had a really crappy drum kit I had gotten dirt cheap from a friend. But it was a drum kit nonetheless and the first thing I got was the double pedals. I played quite some time with only one pedal before that and since you and I both are into the same type of music you know double bass is quite prominent in metal. It felt like the lack of pedals held me back. Later I got a new drum kit and then you can use your double bass with that drum kit as well...
@AfoHT ok, thanks for the advice, the first thing i'll get for my shit drumkit will be the doublebass pedal, later on i'll good toms and a better snare, it'll be better this way cause the only thing that doesn't sound horrible in my drumkit is the bass drum
I have the PD-669, and it's the worst pedal i have ever played, i'm trying right at this moment to fix it but it is so badly design that gives you headaches.
The screws get lose by them self and if you unatach them they will get milled, i am so pissed off about this buy, so if you you want a good pedal that lasts and dont lose the "power" open your wallet for something that isn't millenium PD-669 because you play about 5 times with it and it is finished. . .
@myrtia Since it's a rather cheap double pedal I think this could do just fine for whatever you have planned to use it for. Who knows, perhaps you get very thrilled by having two pedals and you want to continue and invest in more "pro" equipment :)
@masteroftetris Yes. Since I first bought the PD-669 and they broke after just 5 days due to very poor design I was a bit reluctant at first to go with the Millenium again. However, Thomann.de had as an option to just pay a little more and get the more expensive pedals so I went with that offer. And I was amazed. The difference in quality of build was very big, believe it or not.
@AfoHT I Have millenium PD-669 and i think they´re pretty good for beginners like me. and i have thoes millenium PD-669 pedals like some half years and they arent broken ( SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH ! )
@Drummer891342 Of course they're not some Czarcie Kopyto or Axis or whatever high-end pedals, they're for people on a tight budget, like myself. A student don't have much to spend, I'm sure you're aware of that.
@kruchyftw , because they're too weak after a month they start to do not kick well, they start to loosen alone, and they have a goo probability that you're feet can't fits..

I'm also a guitarist, but I love playing drums. Just ordered these, and if they feel good and last at least two years I'll be satisfied! Thanks.

@ConflictDrums Agreed, I had that pedal for 5 days until it broke, and the design is terrible.
