  • I belong here and I feel this music makes me wanna travel

  • what type of music is this

  • @tonysils88 played on an urban channel under the section "Dinner music". I'd call it somewhat ambient/alternative/soul (?)

  • This is seriously good music. How could I only have discovered this now? It literally changes my mood in a great way!

  • One of the coolest bass lines ever

  • The first number of the album simple things..

I have all zero7's albums and there all amazing!

  • who is the voice for this song with zero 7

  • sia

  • nevermind.. not sure

  • Mozez

  • Mozes

  • Nothing can beat the groove the first minute gives you. Listen to the real song not youtube quality

  • I just Have to say that I am one of the only Africans from America who really digs this group! Good music is Good music

  • You're not alone though; I'm black and I adore this music. It reminds me of 'something', like Pink Floyd and Steely Dan bumped into each other and just got together and wrote really good music....

  • I'm Black as well! I don't think people realize how Black people are able to like different genres of music besides rap and R&B. This type of genre really intrigued me. I'm the laid back, chill type of person so this type of music relaxes me.

  • To be fair, I would say this song takes heavily from more traditional R&B, but that's neither here nor there : P

  • Yeah I kind of agree. It's "blusey-esque". I don't know who's singing here. Don't you feel like you almost don't want this music to become popular because it loses it's sentimental value? Maybe that's just me.

  • Well I can certainly see your point, but if it gets popular you can say "I was into them when they were underground!" haha. Honestly though, I don't really care who listens to it as long as it touches me (in a spiritual sense, yeah....).

Look up "Oh I Wept" by Free, the vocals are real similar and the general groove has a similar feel.

  • @asiaglow Hey speak for yourself. There are plenty of us who love this music. Maybe not enough but more than just you LOL.

  • wow this is what the universe must sond like

  • @mizlooze8 duh... where have you been.

  • @mizlooze8 well yeah, that's only really true if you're listening to this song though...

  • Jesus this band is good...Ive been in the dark and now have seen the light. I could groove to this bass line for hours...btw I love Sia Furler

  • Sia's awesome! Check out Sophie Baker; she sang for them too.

  • 2001 reference

  • awesome song

  • give me chills... MY favourite band of all time since 2003.

  • Where did the name "ZERO 7" originate from, and the meaning?

  • on wikipedia i believe it said from a night club in honduras by the same name (in spanish)

  • Thanks! Really appreciate knowing that now. Would love to ck out that place....

  • His name or street name is Rufus. I know his from the UK and I believe is blind. The two producers had like three lead singers for this brillant album. Try smoking a b'luv and chillin to this sensual sound. String arrangements are profound as well. :^P

  • Who is the singer

  • I think her name is Sia.

  • nevermind... totally not the song i was thinking of.

The artist's name (according to wikipedia) is Mozez.

  • Sia is a completly differeny band.

    There really good too though.

  • I thought that was the name of the female lead singer?

  • Sia has her own band and ALSO sings/sang for Zero 7.

  • hypnotizing!

  • Yeah, I'd have to agree. The bassline on this track is pretty groovy.

  • wow...so far in all of the songs by them i love the bass line lol

they should be bigger...better promoting is all it takes =]]

  • Why aren't they bigger? This group, this "collective", is just amazing. Simple Things is my favorite CD this decade... love 'em.

  • I can this as used in comtempary (or is is impertative.. sorry cant spell that word) dance. Pretty obvious huh

  • it think you mean interperitive. (i think that spelling is wrong too but interperitive is how it is pronounced) ;)

  • THAT'S IT!.. thanx for correcting me haha

  • cool song. i havent heard much from them but a few songs, but i like them, portishead and morecheeba

  • EARGASM!!!

  • The bass line on this song is amazing.

  • hell yeah...it's the bass line. It just slays me and then that grassrooty style drums. Dirty 70's stuff..love it.

  • A brilliant song from a fantastic album...

  • they ARE actually a band. the vocals are just by various people. from their youtube profile: "Zero 7 is a downtempo styled musical duo comprising Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker from the United Kingdom. The band's songs feature vocals from Mozez, Sia Furler, Tina Dico, Sophie Barker, José González, and for the first time, Henry Binns providing backing vocals on the third album, The Garden."

  • Melancholic, sweet love, and smile's as wide as the Hudson River!

  • love love love this song

  • LOVE the drums on the intro. Leaves the hi hat ringin' and hit's right square on the one. Awesome!

  • Great song, but I'm not feeling the vocals.

  • Freaking awesome. Chill beats that you can listen to anywhere - truely beautiful music.

  • This bassline is almost as good as like.... kashmir's. thats a good bassline.

  • Why this band are not world famous is beyond me.

  • I feel special that they are not spoiled by media hype, celebrity-case, junk music, main stream pop etc.

  • Theres one word to sum up this song 'beautiful'!

  • simply awesome!

If you dont own any Zero7, go and buy some NOW!! Your life will be complete!!

  • this is an excellent song...and one of my favorites bands...is so incredible relaxing to hear one of this songs that makes you forget everything else...

  • beauty and harmonious peace

  • I fucking love this band!!!

  • what a beautiful song!

  • this is musical bliss personified

  • PERFECT!
