actually bryant, the grass was green. so green in fact, that after a short while, he became satisfied with himself, realized what he wanted, picked up some knowledge along the way, probably spared himself a massive injury form the ridiculous single back work load, and decided it was time for him to come back and play the game he had always loved.

Gumbel's segment was so good until he ripped weed at the end. Ricky didn't leave for weed. how does this guy have a show?

Fantastic commentary from Gumbell. Williams is intellegent, shy and doesnt think football is life or death. Maybe its the rest of us who need to check our priorities. Like Gumbell the things that hardliners hate about him make him one of my favorite athletes.

It's a shame though, Ricky could of truely been the best RB to ever play in the NFL. Besides that eve though his stats arn't there, he still is the best tallent that i've ever saw play that postion. 4.3 fourty at 236 lbs, now thats crazy... Run Ricky Run

I'm so glad Gumbel "resigned" from the NFL Network. His play-by-play was unbearable... almost as unbearable as his commentaries.

How many chances does Ricky get before people stop pulling and apologizing for him? A great many people would have done a great deal more with the talent that he has smoked away.
