This is his most underrated performance. I loved it! He had a couple of rough moments, but when he was good, he was aces in my book. This, Top 9, Top 20, Top 11--all excellent performances from him. For this tune from Eric Clapton - just a simple song but need more feels and souls to it. Chris gave his country+souls feels in this performance. Might not be his best performance BUT he does it right to the sounds. It is hard to have country feels if u dont know how to build a song in that way. I feel that Chris kind like latest Kris Allen AI. They know how to interpret a song to make it unique!

I prefer Chris's version: it's good vocally, and it's more soulful, personal, and original. Dan's performance was filled with special sound editing effects, like the echo, which may make it sound better than it actually is... but Chris's performance seems like it's the real deal.

Chris sings better than Blake, but Blake seems to be more comfortable on stage and is able to engage the audience better. Also, I think Chris has one of the best recording voices, but he wasn't that amazing of a live singer (only about 3 of his performances were actually amazing while all his studio recordings, except "Don't Speak" are amazing). Blake's a really good live singer to America responded to that.

I've only taken a liking to him recently. There's no denying he has a different voice. It's not smooth or powerhouse like Jordin or Melinda, but there's something drawing to it. Melt-y soulful and pleasant to listen to. (Not all the time, admittedly) I do understand the nasal quality, but I don't really mind. And he's original, like Blake. Stretched out far enough into the competition. He left at the right time, I suppose. And yes, he is cute :) Deserves to get out some awesome-selling albums.
