I´m an Elton-fan and no way am I ashamed of it. I don´t have a reason to. Why should I? Why should we? Doesn´t his musical career speak by itself? Doesn´t the success of titles like "candle in the wind, can you feel the love tonight, Nikita, Daniel, sacrifice, believe" and hundreds more say anything to you? Just compare what current young raising stars have done so far with what Elton did at their age and within the same period of time. I bet Elton has worked about twice harder...

Kate winslet deserves many praises for her choices after titanic. In titanic, she was the standout for me but(because there is a but) while it's maybe unfair, leo dicaprio got place as "the world's king of the medias" after titanic. He was on the cover of all the magazines etc.......I think what elton john said here is that he took guts, talent to survive to this kind of fame that hit leo dicaprio at 22 years old.
