  • does he have to do these poses in a speedo?? Amazing flexibility, i can only dream to become this flexible one day :D

  • @jasmine218 that's actually a napkin... namaste

  • WHAT a legend

  • Wow! I'm half his age and a quarter as flexible. Salute.

  • Awesome

  • In addition to my last comment, however, to do very difficult asanas does not mean necessarily that the mind is special and powerful. Some people have a very adapted body to Yoga, but the mind may be dominated by vanish, pride or something like that. In Brazil we have an old proverb "Not all that shines is gold'(Nem tudo que reluz é ouro.)Thanks.

  • Due to my own experience I can tell you that it almost impossible to maintain the mind free if your body is not good. If our body aches the mind cannot stay calm, unless you are under an effect of some drog. We are one, so the freedom of the body is the freedom of the mind and so on.

  • Pranaam..!

  • that was a Master Teacher this man pulls no stops out he is pentrating to watch his direct movenment to the organs is expressed the over all health to the body is truely presented

  • people go into theses poses and 'jump' out from one asana to the other. Bad habit's.

  • "unless freedom from the body is gained, freedom from the mind is a far fetched thing"

  • @taxivid

Dying frees the body, while your alive pain and suffering inflicts your mind and body.

the mind releases ( frees) the mind, the body will follow.

  • neat

  • He says if the freedom in the body is not gained the freedom in the mind is a far fetched idea, then the circus artists must be enlightened..

  • @TheNobullshitt freedom in the body in the sense of yoga refers to stillness...when the body is calm and still then meditation is easier..a state of deep physical relaxation may lead to a state of inner relaxation... circus artists are often great in contortion but perhaps not working on the stillness of yoga..i think the two arts are rather different in attitude.

  • @TheNobullshitt a good point you raise......Freedom in the body in the sense of yoga refers to stillness...when the body is calm and still then meditation is easier..a state of deep physical relaxation may lead to a state of inner relaxation... circus artists are often great in contortion but perhaps not working on the stillness of yoga..i think the two arts are rather different in attitude.
