  • Congrats on the 100th video! Also, I have a video on my channel.

  • Oh also where did you get the newer 1265 case?

  • @sms373 From my dealer... He's also got like 5/6 older style belt drive rails. There all 8 ft, but I can easily cut the rail down to size, and maybe put up an old 1270. They have one that's brand new in the box sitting in the warehouse, so I might think about buying it off of my boss!

  • Why are your openers angled so far down?

  • @sms373 It's better to have your openers angled down. It puts less stress as the chain/belt is pulling/pushing the door closed. Little installers trick ;) The opener should never be 100% level...

  • I love it! I wiil be installing the new opener tomorow.

  • I just got a 2280R for my 16x7.

  • Did you raise your headers? Maybe it's the camera, but something seems different...

Oh, I put my 1265 in today. Finally got my camera back, so maybe I'll upload a vid tomorrow.

  • @chicagolandhobby I did raise my header. That's how I obtain in my eyes the perfect door arm install.

  • Not bad. I didn't expect that sound difference between the two opener to be that drastic. But I like that sound. It reminds me of that old Chamberlain 1/4hp Chamberlain I used to have, way back when. I can't wait to see what the new lines bring. :-)

  • @TheGarageDoorGeek I can't wait to see the new lines too.:)

  • great video Mike, I really like that new door arm style. looks very clean :)

  • Great video! Congrats on your 100th video!

  • hay new whisper drive video coing in 90 min

  • @cyberlight22 Cool! But to be honest, I can't remember the last time I've dealt with a unit that wasn't a LiftMaster... I don't mess with the "DIY" openers at all... When I do installs for people, I go through my dealer, and get the solid rail and motor head. ;)

  • @mikeo2222 yes but thay did not wount to pay too much i did bring it up but thay did not wount to pay that much.hay i am lift master all the way whin i get a new door!

  • @cyberlight22 Does Chamberlain sell directly to you?

  • @mikeo2222 no not yet
