  • Welch grandiose Betonung: in des Mo```ndes Licht

  • Thank you for posting this clip! Schlusnus was my mom's uncle and i'm glad, that he's not forgotten!

  • @ingombro

How fortunate to be related to such a distinguished artist which is always to be remembered.

  • love it!

  • thank u for posting all these great videos.

  • sublime schlusnus!

  • @preruminator an wunderpaule

Gerät Ihnen bei dem Worte 'edel' Ähnliches in den Sinn? :-)

  • Schlussnus gehört für mich zum grossen

    Liedgut dieser Welt

  • Gorgeousl Wonderful quality also,

  • Beautiful voice!!!!!!!!!! Enchanting...

  • Wonderful. He's one of my favorite baritones. Beautiful voice and expression.

  • Schlusnus ist zweifellos gross! Klang, Aussprach, Geschmack...

  • Much enjoyed his singing. Thanks for the up-loading. Gruesse aus Sued-Korea. GHerang

  • His complete recording of Riggoletto is incredible . Its in german but wonderful

  • How old is this disc, and this grammophone ?

  • The record is from 1951; the phonograph from 1926.

  • @merrihew I used to have a record player that we used to play ABBA and other records but not a grammophone, well it was similar to that. I miss that type of thing. It's so retro now. But I love retro stuff. Thanks for posting it.

  • Sheer heaven. This was my grandfather's favourite singer. "Komm, beglücke mich!" Where has all the poetry gone from singing?

  • Ich habe noch nie so ein Grammophon gesehen!

    Sehr, sehr großartiger Klang!!!

    Grüße aus Deutschland!

I've never seen a gramophone like yours!

    Very, very great sound!!!

    Greetings from germany!

  • I wish I had a player like yours, I want one with a huge tulip-looking apparatus and a crank and lots of storage and space on top to put my knick-knacks. I'd dust it with pledge at least once a week and I would use it everyday. Thanks 4 posting, I even love the little static noise, amazing. Digital can not beat this!

  • I bet you can find one of those at e-bay.

Personally I'm yearning for one of those new shining silver record players that convert LPs to digital.

  • Amazing.. Thanks for sharing

  • Schlusnus was (and perhaps still is) simply the best!

Sometimes I hear something naughty/giggly in his voice.;) (especially when he sings 'Adelaide')

  • Superb singing.

  • Der Klang ist unglaublich!

    Grüße aus Deutschland.

    The sound is unbelieveable!

Greetings of a collector from Germany.
