I Love the song so much and the meaning behind it but once I saw this music video...I feel that the mv totally contradicts the message behind the song. I shouldn't have watched it. If you didn't know what song it was, I bet it would be hard to tell that it's about girl power. They could've done much better; I was waiting for my breath to be taken away. I'm not bashing or anything it's just I didn't feel any girl power here.

What I like about this song, is it's lyrics. They tell you to take your own life into your own hands. As a ninth grader I want to graduate, and go to a high school in another town, where my friends live, and where my place really is. I love my family and home, but I really want to get out of this town, where you're easily thought of as a weirdo, where you're always watched... So, i'm not waiting for my Prince... I am taking my life into my own hands.
