thers another glitch wher u can get one of the doors open before the battle when u hav to open the door press the switch for the one u want closed then run to the other door switch and when the screen starts to turn black press it and durinbg the battle the second door will be open

Make sure to use the grenades before the torque bow at this close distance, youll risk blow up yourself if you hit the block or Raam's upper bode /torso.

aim for his belly and charge the bow properly.

Nope, the bug is not fixed. As of 2010, March 4th, It still works, and it will always work, it just doesn't work every time. If you are patient, RAAM will eventually get stuck. And if you are playing on insane mode, it really is the only way to defeat Raam.

If you get nervious once you start fighting raam you will most likely forget to stick to the killing plan. It is very likely that everyone who figured out how to kill ram the easy way, was killed at least 10-15 times by raam. DON'T GET DISCOURAGED!

Oh and blindfire grenades/torque bow to the corner over the dark side of the block, not at RAAM (you can get yourself blow up).

This player got slightly lucky that RAAM never went around the block. If he does, go over the block (not around it) and take cover on the other side. Keep on jumping over the block when RAAM comes to your side until he gets stuck. Once he is stuck, never zoom, just blindfire with grenades/torque bow to get kryll off and then blindfire with lancer.

Obviously this strategy doesn't always work. Sometimes RAAM refuses to get stuck or takes an alternate path

This strategy works well on insane. You never have to use the left trigger (zoom) and is probably better that you don't.

Don't get discourage if you get owned a bunch of times. Sometimes RAAM comes around the side of the block and decides not to move to the direct opposite side. When this happens the angles can get all messed up resulting in your ass being destroyed. Dom and reavers also sometimes get you killed.

I am not a "good" player, but this strategy works maybe 1/8 times for me or so.

i can confirm this trick still works.however due to recent updates the torque bow now only holds 6 shots(so make each one count).

also you cant use the lancer alone.(you run out of ammo).use up the heavy pistol first before switching over to the lancer.

i beat him on a way none has evr did that and uploaded on youtube =D first i stuck him to the block

then i throw the 4 grenades on his foot

then i shoot the torque bow on the other side of the stone. (the torque bow allows a explosion that will destroy his shield)

then when his kryll shield is gone shoot him with the lancer.

repeat that a couple times ( i did it 6 times and he died) ;D succes!!!

me and my friend just head shot it with sniper and torque bow until he gets close, then my friend runs up and tags him, dying in the process, and i stay alive until ram blows up and dies. Our fastest time was about a minute and a half.

Hardest part of the game is not Raam but the Lamnent Wretches...bitches explode and take you out easy on insane. Yeh the team AI is ridiculously frustrating to live with. I just finished the game on casual using only mellee (except when killing seeders etc)

Okay the assault rifle sucks so bad for this on Hardcore difficulty for some reason. I tried about 8 times with the assault rifle only to run out of grenades and Raam still be alive. I tried using the shot gun and beat him using only 3 grenades. I strongly suggest the shot gun if you have it. I had one instead of the torque bow because I never remember to pick up a bow before the Raam fight.

I had better luck hiding behind the front block on the LEFT, not right.

I had troubles with arrows: Occasionally they would kill me, not sure why.

Tip: When throwing grenades: be sure to steer "down" wo they dont go too far.

Make sure when you do it you stay to the left hand side of the block and throw the grenades. If he keeps walking towards you try again, make sure you fire your machine gun at him to lure him to the block

all you need is

Torque Bow - 4 or 5 shots

4 Grenades

Machine gun or shotgun

When the boss starts, run to the last block top right and sit up against it and he cant get you at all.

Then throw the grenades near him and blast him with lots off fire when hes not protected.

Do this until you run out of grenades, then get your torque bow and keep hitting him with it and eventually he will die

make sure you always shoot from cover, never stand up when firing
