it not only marks the target it show which direction there headed and if you mark a vehicle say a abraham engineer rocket launchers (rpg) will lock on
@stanzy410 you place it on vehicles and it enables lock on for the first 2 out of 3 rocket launchers, the last one doesnt have it because you get to aim that one while its in flight
it's funny how the game actually plays out like in the battlefield moments unlike activision's trailers which they should be sued for for false advertising. They advertise a game with teamplay like mw2 but it ends up being full of killstreak whores. Riot shield my ass!
It's sad the game doesn't play out like that at all. It's a great game, but it's way more tense than what these guys make it seem. Running around in the open like that will get you sniped within seconds (not necessarily by a sniper even), tanks notice the slightest motion and bombard everything, gunfights generally last less than a second and, well, stuff moves along way faster...
@bobotttabc123 no Bad Company is a Battlefield game SERIES, but its not like Battlefield 1942 or Battlefield 2, its more of a story based series with awesome multiplayer. The other battlefields base off open world stuff, the multiplayer for this is awesome but it has story based missions, unlike the old battlefields, and Battlefield 3 will have story based missions too. But even better multiplayer.
I grew up playing the Cod series...I love Cod 3-Cod MW 2 then i found this game...And i agree with @mralanv, because for one It's nothing like BFBC2...I was rofling at getting beat down on battlfield because it's soooo much more different than that of the Call Of Duty series..I felt like i should express my opinions on this simply, because I'm 15 and grew up playing Cod an for one I think change is good in a sense of games like this..Kudos to EA and there games by making Infinity look like Poop.

I love how in this game, the ground can be destroyed, too. I was playing conquest on Atacama Desert and at C (I think) me and my team were kicking the enemies out with tank rounds and explosives, and by the end of it, that little cluster of buildings had a massive crater in the middle lol :D

Umm, I was a 7th prestige in Black Ops, An 8th in Modern Warfare 2, and a 5th in Modern Warfare. So, I have played ALOT of Call Of Duty. I bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 about a week ago, and I can already tell this is is much much MUCH more than any Call of Duty game. I know there is alot of Cod vs. BFBC2 but oh well, might as well add gasoline to a forest fire.

@mmdaniels33 I have played CoD for a long time, but "sticking with what works" basically means making a new campaign and putting everything on the same engine with basically the same sounds and reselling it. I don't really like to buy new CoDs anymore because they're all so similar! I don't know why people keep buying them. It's like the Pokemon games now. Battlefield takes a really long time to come out but I find it pretty new every time.
Never works like that in real play. You die much easier and if you run around like that you die even sooner either due to snipers or someone you havent seen.
This game is AWESOME on PC, thank god for dedictaed servers. I've played it on console too, and despite what other poeople say, its actually quite solid on consoles as well. :D

I grew up playing the Cod series...I love Cod 3-Cod MW 2 then i found this game...And i agree with @mralanv, because for one It's nothing like BFBC2...I was rofling at getting beat down on battlfield because it's soooo much more different than that of the Call Of Duty series..I felt like i should express my opinions on this simply, because I'm 15 and grew up playing Cod an for one I think change is good in a sense of games like this..Kudos to EA and there games by making Infinity look like Poop.

I love how in this game, the ground can be destroyed, too. I was playing conquest on Atacama Desert and at C (I think) me and my team were kicking the enemies out with tank rounds and explosives, and by the end of it, that little cluster of buildings had a massive crater in the middle lol :D

haha this makes it look so fun haha, but nobody plays like that. The UAV wouldn't have been used b/c people camp the pilot computer. and when infantry sees a tank they're nowhere to be found, they just don't casually walk away haha. Ps. the gunner on that T80 fails so hard haha

Umm, I was a 7th prestige in Black Ops, An 8th in Modern Warfare 2, and a 5th in Modern Warfare. So, I have played ALOT of Call Of Duty. I bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 about a week ago, and I can already tell this is is much much MUCH more than any Call of Duty game. I know there is alot of Cod vs. BFBC2 but oh well, might as well add gasoline to a forest fire.

And IMHO I think all who prefer Call of Duty and not Battlefield, prefer Call of Duty beacuse it's easiest and they can play better on it. I don't really like to buy new CoDs anymore because they're all so similar! I don't know why people keep buying them. It's like the Pokemon games now. Battlefield takes a really long time to come out but I find it pretty new every time.
