Benny Hinn says, God the Father is a triune being separte from the Son. No! Father, Son, Spirit are One Being. The Father is not triune, nor is the Son, nor is the Holy Spirit. Hinn says there are 9 persons of the Trinity. His rational is that he says the Father has a soul, body and spirit and so does the Son and the Spirit which equals 9. But the Bible says before creation the Father is spirit, the Son is spirit and the Spirit is spirit. No bodies and no human souls outside of time and space.

@jastvo Tradition was the leading force (but not for Protestants as of 1517AD) and still is for Orthodox Christians. The New Testament came out of the Holy Tradition of the Church, and all of the letters are a testament to that Tradition. Logic is very important, and the Church Fathers bare that out. Unity with God is the essence of salvation, and part of is holding to what the Apostles handed down in the form of Tradition.

The tri-theist view and the Sabellianist (Modalist/Oneness) view have been rejected as heresy. The only non-heretical belief is the Trinitarian belief. Benny Hinn says, God the Father is a triune being separte from the Son. No! Father, Son, Spirit are One Being. The Father is not triune, nor is the Son, nor is the Holy Spirit. Hinn says there are 9 persons of the Trinity. His rational is that he says the Father has a soul, body and spirit and so does the Son and the Spirit which equals 9. But the Bible says before creation the Father is spirit, the Son is spirit and the Spirit is spirit. No bodies and no human souls outside of time and space.

@jastvo Tradition was the leading force (but not for Protestants as of 1517AD) and still is for Orthodox Christians. The New Testament came out of the Holy Tradition of the Church, and all of the letters are a testament to that Tradition. Logic is very important, and the Church Fathers bare that out. Unity with God is the essence of salvation, and part of is holding to what the Apostles handed down in the form of Tradition.

So which came first, the Church or the New Testament? The Church was started after Christ's Resurrection and the New Testament wasn't canonized by the Church until 400 AD. So I pose the question again, which came first, the Church or the New Testament?

Is there a Scripture verse that tells us to read the Bible absent of any tradition? Does it make sense that God would give us the fullness of the Truth only to leave us to our own interpretations and guesses to it? What do you do with verses such as 1 Cor. 11:2, 2 Thess. 2:15 and 3:16, which tell us to "hold to the traditions.... by word or epistle"?

The tri-theist view and the Sabellianist (Modalist/Oneness) view have been rejected as heresy. The only non-heretical belief is the Trinitarian belief. You have one God, three distinct persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Just like you have one humanity in which billions of people belong to it, you have One Godhead, 3 persons in it.

Benny Hinn is a heretic. His understanding of the Trinity is closer to the Mormon understanding than it is to Christianity, and therefore he preaches a doctrine of devils.
The true teaching of the Trinity is nothing like he's saying, and the teaching on the Trinity has been affirmed time and time as truly Orthodox and the issue at the Ecumenical Councils was never "is there a Trinity" but refuting heresy. The Trinity was taught by the Apostles.

Trinitarians Know that the word is more than just AND. In greek context is key.
One thing. You will not find in church history that trinity is nine persons. Furthermore You are creating a Straw man. Benny Hinn teaches this. a true trinitarian does not.

So how many Holy Spirits are there in Benny Hinn's theology? If the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and Son...unless Benny got a new revelation of the trinity that does some transformers stuff and makes two "spirits" One from the Father and one from the Son merge and create the ULTIMATE HOLY SPIRIT. (SARCASM USED) This is non-sense man who ever follow Hinn's teaching have to repent because that's Heresy at its best. Let's go back to BIBLE PLEASE.

wouldnt that compromise the pluraty of the persons if the Holy Spirit came from both the Father and Son. Therefore they cant be two persons or more persons in the Godhead.

He is not saying there are nine GOD or nine people in the trinity. He is saying each of them have their own personality.
Just like we have a body, soul, and spirit.

The Greek word is actually "kai" and can also mean "even" or "which is to say" as for example in John 20:28
The seven fold Spirit in the Apocalypse is an allusion to an OT passage.
Each person of the Holy Trinity is NOT three persons. Col 2:9 does NOT support this.
Finally, whoever made the ultra heretic and pentecostal name it and claim it miracle monger Benny Hinn a credible representative of Orthodox Christianity?

lets use the greek word "kia" which trinitarins say means and.. Do you know there are seven spirits in the book of Revelation. Now we have seven persons and they also have three persons and they have there own three persons. I can add up the trinity gods rather quickly using the trinity belief system

they dont I heard they say the Word is another person from the Father meaning face to face from one another.. No greek lexi will ever interupt that verse that way, the way trinitarians do. Theres only so much I can say on this matter so little space. subscribe and I well quote trinitarians themself and let you be the judge.
