  • This is to celerbrate the 10 year Anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. That's why we invited Lang Lang as the principal guest to perform Yellow River piano concerto with the orchestra. I find the ballet slightly out of place in a situation like this. Not to be disrespectful to them, but perhaps, the ballet should have a separate performance. The thumping of the dancers can be very distracting. The focus of this program should be on the orchestra and principal guest Lang Lang.

  • what are their playing?

  • we chinese have great fashion sense eh? the male dancers look like they have adult diapers on. but they dance superbly. the ladies are all so beautiful.

  • the shorts are like a gym class uniform. i think it's appropriate for that dance than wearing a ballet tights.

  • i heard something was out of tune (he played the wrong key) at the end of the piece.. haha, everyone can make a mistake, but he is still the best!!

  • Interesting. This composition seems to be the answer to the question, "What if Tchaikovsky and Aaron Copland were both born in China and were forced to collaborate on a piano concerto?"

Oh.... and also the question, "What if they both had no descernable talent for composition?"

  • What a great honor :D.. I'm happy for him

  • I only have this clip. Sorry

  • do you have the entire piece?

  • it's called "Yellow River" piano concerto

  • i know, but i want the entire piece of the dance.
