That was "Saw Red" and it's a pretty old school staple sublime song, imo it launched Gwen Steffani (she was the original duet with Brad on it). I thought he did well on it, but i'm with you, I love the ska-punk mix! I'm for Bud and Eric getting to reap what they worked so hard for back in the day. They were robbed and we lost one of the greatest talents of our time. I support them too and they need more.

obviously this guy has talent and good sublime-ish style songwriting (but then again so do pepper and slightly stoopid), but one thing that this new guy and those bands lack that brad had is CHARISMA. brad just had such a way about him that was absolutley magic, and, not trying to rip rome, but he will NOT be able to replace brad, cuz even if he's musically up there with him (which he's not), he'll never ever match his charisma and originality.

I was a HUGE fan of LBDAS. They made great music. I really miss them. As for Shortbus, they were pretty good too. I met them outside of a bar here in Lincoln, NE. Got pics with Eric and Ras1. Great guys.

i was coming in here guns blazing ready to rip this fake bradley a new asshole, but i was wrong. this rome guy is actually really good and this sounds like a classic sublime song. if you close your eyes you can almost pretend its bradley.

why get mad? if your a sublime fan, try to imagine what bud and eric must be feeling: finally I'm gonna get back there and play what I never wanted to stop playing! I'm happy for them! And sick to know that Sublime style is more alive than ever! Just hope that Rome cuts his hair, put some badass tattoo and get wicked on stage! It's a tribute, it's a honor, so I hope he realizes in whos shoes he's walking now.

As long as the name Sublime keeps appearing across the country, its kinda hard to forget where it started. These guys got a lot of playing left in em, and for those that wanna hate, try telling Bud and Eric that they're not Sublime. Shit changes, man. Can't live in the past forever, and uh...
