While that may be true, the name used in this arrangement, by Scott Boerma, is El Toro Caliente. Given how frequently this arrangement is used, I think it is fair to use this name.
that was a good job doing 1995 scouts. but there needed 2 be more of a drumline presents i felt like when the horns where playing it almost felt like there was no drumline
oh hi calvin. I keep forgetting to find your youtube acc. so I guess you found me. Was looking for our show last year. Drill is modified though. I'm pretty sure we didn't have a big 'M'
Just b/c u dont hear them doesnt mean they arent contributing...believe me i know how frustrating it is not to be heard in a good band on clarinet...and playing my head off doesnt help...
I'm form the Dublin Coffman High School Marching Band and we played this song, with almost the same arrangement without the ending. Awesome, this song was so fun to play and march!!!
Oh wow, I really wish he hadn't played that solo. Then again they're not a drum corps, and it was a good solo if you don't know how it was originally played.
They must've done a whole Madison show. Their Malaguena clip from this performance has fleur's all through it.
Actually, the solo's a lot cooler than played. The soloist took liberty to hose the part a bit. The written solo has another run, some shakes and turns, and holding the E at the end wouldn't be bad either.
I played this my first year of marching band at Celina High school in celina Texas...you might know us for football! but i fell in love with this song as soon as i heard it and i loved preforming it!!
man we played this song when i was junior back in 01 and i still get the same chills hearing this song now as when i did when we did our marching competitions. Good Memories

EL TORO CALIENTE IS NOT THE REAL NAME OF THE SONG. THIS SONG IS REALLY CALLED EL VIRGIN DE LA MACARENA.

about a 5th lower than the 95 Scouts version.
Still good job.
