  • FPC Marching Band Latin Rhythms 11/4/11

copy and paste it into the youtube search bar!!!

    Uploader: jsw14inc

  • opener for our marching show freaking POWERFUL

  • @whedbeec I can't wait for it to pull together!!!!! Clay ;)

  • we did this when was a sophomore in high school

  • EL TORO CALIENTE IS NOT THE REAL NAME OF THE SONG. THIS SONG IS REALLY CALLED EL VIRGIN DE LA MACARENA.

  • While that may be true, the name used in this arrangement, by Scott Boerma, is El Toro Caliente. Given how frequently this arrangement is used, I think it is fair to use this name.

  • weak

  • They can't play it like the Goin Band from Raiderland!

  • check out my page, 2002 Munford High, wish we had the high brass that this has

  • 1:13 = horn angle!!!!!!! hahaha

  • Olive Branch High School Band, marching this song this friday during half time at the foot ball game!

  • yEAH.. iiT wAS aWESOME.. aND fuN..

    :]

  • I love how its just strait up all brass lol

  • wow, this gave me the goosebumps about the power of mb!

  • What happened to the solo at the beginning?

  • I wish you could hear woodwinds. -sigh-

At least the ballad to this show has a lot of woodwind.

  • woodwinds on the field is so pointless

  • You saw the video of the Ballad? Where is it? I haven't seen it. :(

  • that was a good job doing 1995 scouts. but there needed 2 be more of a drumline presents i felt like when the horns where playing it almost felt like there was no drumline

  • oh hi calvin. I keep forgetting to find your youtube acc. so I guess you found me. Was looking for our show last year. Drill is modified though. I'm pretty sure we didn't have a big 'M'

  • Lol Akward Sean.

  • Now lets all get them to be in Dci.

  • I miss this show! My band (Peoria High School) played this last year and it was so awesome! I wish I could play this every year!

  • Vestavia Hills High played this three years ago...and rocked it. I love that trumpet solo.

  • great form i cant hear flutes or clarinents at all

  • Just b/c u dont hear them doesnt mean they arent contributing...believe me i know how frustrating it is not to be heard in a good band on clarinet...and playing my head off doesnt help...

  • @caligirlz647 lol, you can in my band ;)

  • @caligirlz647 watch my band on my channel, you hear us ;)

  • check out Fresno States 2002 Show (just search that).

  • Again, very nice :D

  • Best halftime show by a college marching band EVER!

  • our marching band is playing it this year.

    im really excited.

  • our marching band is playing it this year.

    im really excited.

  • i am on the comeaux high school colorguard and we played this as our closer song, with a drum break at the beginning for our showcase

  • yeah, except this band did a MUCH better job than we did. like a zillion times better.

  • I'm form the Dublin Coffman High School Marching Band and we played this song, with almost the same arrangement without the ending. Awesome, this song was so fun to play and march!!!

  • OMG! its whitemore! go whitemore!

  • the guy in the clarinet at the beggining is my band instructor! :D

    Go Whitmore!

  • im playing this in millersville universitys marching band

    great tune

  • clarinets rule!!!!!

  • THS Plays this a heck of alot better and we are better because of the SCHWINDT FACTOR 5!!!!!!

  • Oh wow, I really wish he hadn't played that solo. Then again they're not a drum corps, and it was a good solo if you don't know how it was originally played.

They must've done a whole Madison show. Their Malaguena clip from this performance has fleur's all through it.

  • Actually, the solo's a lot cooler than played. The soloist took liberty to hose the part a bit. The written solo has another run, some shakes and turns, and holding the E at the end wouldn't be bad either.

  • check out marching southerners BOA 2007 part 2

  • (that was for the trumpet solo guy lol)

  • Boerma is the man! Although this version sounds

about a 5th lower than the 95 Scouts version.

    Still good job.

  • The Madison Scouts preformed this originally

  • I played this my first year of marching band at Celina High school in celina Texas...you might know us for football! but i fell in love with this song as soon as i heard it and i loved preforming it!!

    <3

    Porsche'

  • Celina High School, nope, I'm from Katy, TX. 5A State Champs! Not that I care anymore, High School sucks, College is where it's at.

  • man we played this song when i was junior back in 01 and i still get the same chills hearing this song now as when i did when we did our marching competitions. Good Memories

  • My highschool band played this when I was a sophomore. I got the quint part played at DCI. Needless to say, I watered it down.

  • Where the hell is the trumpet call???

  • who worte this song????

  • SCOTT BOERMA

  • my band is doing this song

  • Yeah, this is our opener this season.

  • whats your show?
