I honestly think Slipknot hasn't changed so much. Yes, All Hope Is Gone is different. But it isn't bad. In my opinion, it's half & half. Half soft, half fucking heavy. I wish they'd go back to sounding a bit more like they did on their Self Titled, but hey, they're still doing what they do best, &I've seen them live twice in less than a year&they haven't let me down.They played two or three songs off of AHIG. The rest was all old stuff,even a song off their under ground album.They're progressin.

i think it's the other way around. Vol. 3 was extremely commercial and had a bunch of radio friendly songs. AHIG only has a few songs that can be heard on the radio, and only on hardcore rock stations (at least where i live). Anyways, i'm not a fan of AHIG but it was still a SlipKnoT album so i kind of liked it automatically
