fail at capturing video. U can tell these guys arent good professionals. I dotn think its right to have the actual sound in the video, like her shoes hitting the floor. It gets pretty distracting. But i love her voice so yea great.
I feel like this song talks about a void in peoples lives, even though you may not be in any physical pain, you still hurt. and just like the version of this song with metric says "I cant stop shopping" it shows how we live our lives trying to fill the void with things that really have no meaning to us.
i feel like that every time i am forced into one of those hellish stores like walgreens or walmart or any department store or at a doctors office or psychiatrist office maybe society is what the problem is and we're all just blind thanks for making us less blind and shedding some light on these orwellian times emily you are a genius and helper of humankind.
fuck yeah, she hits it rick on the nail of how it feels to be in one of those fucking soul-sucking stores and/or on soul-sucking medication/tv/drugs of any form. and i can hardly believe her voice is human. its so divine. *speechless*
I love all the artistic social/societal commentary in all of Emily Haine's work. She's not preachy a bit but very meaningful. Incredibly unique and gifted too. What a striking combination of obscurity and universality.
ive never seen anything that captures what its actually like to be in one of those fucking fluorescent lighted conveyer belt existence department stores
I love this video and song so much, I'm going through a hard time in my life dealing with medicated drugs...I was so suprised and had a weird feeling when I saw this on TV.
