  • I hope the film is better than this trailer(ofcourse it will be), because I will be watching this soon.

  • Isn't that the voice of Marvin Miller, who did a ton of voiceover work but who also starred as Michael Anthony on "The Millionaire"?

  • I wouldn't exactly use the word "excitement" to describe this movie New York Times. It's anything but "exciting." Although, it is probably my number one favorite movie.

  • great trailer, but that commentary dude needs to shut the fuck up

  • Don't you guys think that Dominique Blanchar, the actress who plays Giulia, is identical to Miranda Richardson? Even their style in acting is pretty similar, i was really surprised the first time i watched L'avventura

  • One of the most beautiful films ever made!

  • i miss these kinds of trailers. they tell you the "story" up front, without contaminating the plot or pacing.

  • this trailer is actually brilliant -- it highlights the themes of the movie but makes the movie seem completely different than what it actually is. The trailer makes it seem like an empty 'conventional' drama, and the movie itself is about the emptiness in the characters themselves and their dramas.

  • I loved Antonioni's "Blow-Up". I want to see this film! :)

  • Film: Absolute masterpiece.

    Trailer: Absolutely hysterical.

  • Bellissimo film!!!

  • The voice-over narration, to me at least, is insanely funny. And I enjoy this movie, don't get me wrong. The voice-over doesn't at all do it justice, and is just plain silly/funny. Anyone else agree?

  • The narration is a detriment to its greatness

  • @ILoveGodzilla 100% agree. it seems to tell something like: it's cool even for american viewers, so watch it! :P

  • Grandissimo film!!!

  • GRAN PELICULA

  • this trailer really is misleading but i think gangle's post is Antonioni irony at it's best.

  • Beautiful film.. amazing photography.. and one of the BEST soundtracks ever... this trailer doesn't do it justice.. un capolavoro...

  • I was just gonna say... Antonioni uses a lot of nudity, and a lot of sex, but its hardly ever sexy...

  • That *is* a very misleading trailer.... _L'Avventura_ is an incredibly cold, intellectualized, and unsexy experience. Great film, and Monica Vitti is astonishly beautiful, but Fellini or _Unbearable Lightness_ it ain't!

  • This trailer makes the film sounds like a sleazy, skin flick. This is, of course, the US trailer.

  • does ANYONE know the name of the song that monica vitti sings in this film?? or where i can get it?? i looked all over and cannot find it! help please! it goes something like, "no, no, i will never let go of you"...

  • All I know is the music for this film is written by Giovanni Fusco.

  • It starts with Mai (Never)... that's all I can remember... and sung by Mina? Tell me about it! I can't find it anywhere. If someone knows please, please speak up!

  • I agree, this trailer doesn't really show you the true essence of the movie.

  • It makes it sound like a potboiler, film noir. It ain't even close.

  • I know... but I don't know why the trailer makes me all giggly inside.
