I wouldn't exactly use the word "excitement" to describe this movie New York Times. It's anything but "exciting." Although, it is probably my number one favorite movie.
Don't you guys think that Dominique Blanchar, the actress who plays Giulia, is identical to Miranda Richardson? Even their style in acting is pretty similar, i was really surprised the first time i watched L'avventura
this trailer is actually brilliant -- it highlights the themes of the movie but makes the movie seem completely different than what it actually is. The trailer makes it seem like an empty 'conventional' drama, and the movie itself is about the emptiness in the characters themselves and their dramas.
The voice-over narration, to me at least, is insanely funny. And I enjoy this movie, don't get me wrong. The voice-over doesn't at all do it justice, and is just plain silly/funny. Anyone else agree?
That *is* a very misleading trailer.... _L'Avventura_ is an incredibly cold, intellectualized, and unsexy experience. Great film, and Monica Vitti is astonishly beautiful, but Fellini or _Unbearable Lightness_ it ain't!
does ANYONE know the name of the song that monica vitti sings in this film?? or where i can get it?? i looked all over and cannot find it! help please! it goes something like, "no, no, i will never let go of you"...
It starts with Mai (Never)... that's all I can remember... and sung by Mina? Tell me about it! I can't find it anywhere. If someone knows please, please speak up!
I hope the film is better than this trailer(ofcourse it will be), because I will be watching this soon.
