  • I have this sudden womanly instinct to go in the kitchen and make a bunch of food now.

  • Can you show me how to make chick pea sambusaks?

  • @that1nigglet I probably can...

  • @TitliNihaan On second thought my dear Titli, could you just give me the stuffing ingredients for it? I wouldn't want to be a trouble... (:

  • I'm having the hardest time closing these. After putting a dab of water on the sides they still don't want to stick closed. Any tips?

  • @amazpadz This happens to me if I've got too much flour on my surface. Try wetting the edge you want to close AND the place where the edge will glue to on the samosa.

  • AMAZING!!!!! loved them and my family loved them for lunch! thanks!

  • I luvvv you, your sooo sweet, and my mom is going to try making somasas like you in ramazan.

  • is it ok if i put olive oil instead of vegetable oil? or maybe corn oil?

  • Walaykum Asallam titli! Thank you so much :)

  • it would be awesome if you wrote the ingredients in the discription bar!

  • @screamolives Even more awesome - go to my website and print them off

  • @TitliNihaan Unfortunately if you make it hard for your fans to find recipes and websites that are not easily seen or linked in the description bar you'll lose viewers

  • @screamolives Your comment prompted me to go through all 220-something videos and I found three other videos which didn't have a link to the website in the description. I've corrected those as well :-)

  • @TitliNihaan I apologise. I'm not dedicated enough to go through all 222 videos to see whether this is true, though I did check 5.

  • @screamolives No apology necessary. Thank you for telling me that I'd forgotten to add the link!

  • I love all your videos! you explain your recipes so simply and with so much enthusiasm, i wish we were related because I'd be in your kitchen EVERYDAY! Thanks for the inspiration to cook from scratch :)

  • I like your kitchen Titly. You giving good ideas.

  • 00:25

  • hahaha lov yr video fanks i will make some this wkend

  • can i use puff pastry for that ?

  • I'm watching your videos right now... like every single one of them. Now, everytime you do your introduction at the start, I go like "F**K YEAH!"

  • its actually sambosa

  • you are so sweat

  • why did u brush with milk

  • hahaha 'do u like samosas... oK COURSE U DO" haha

  • My family absolutely loves Indian food. Can't wait to make these

  • seems slightly absurd to go through all the hassle of rolling so thin and cutting around a template. Highly reccomend just rolling into circle, just thick enough that single layer of dough is sufficient. Cut circle into half then bring stright edges into a cone, fill and seal open end. Add some fresh chopped corriander to the filling too.

  • lovely golden brown baked samosas ^.^

  • These are almost like Indian pierogies!

  • I cannot view this video. It is giving the message 'an error occured'

  • @asadmalgi I think YouTube is having a few problems at the moment. Try again a bit later :-/

  • @TitliNihaan just a question, how come you add salt to the flour?

  • Hi. I enjoyed the video. Well done!

  • looks delicious!! I will try it!

  • go makes samosas!! haha ;p damn right i am, is it like egg rolls? could i make egg rolls out of this?

  • I made this. But the spices used here are not enough to taste it like the "authentic ones" we get in India :( : (

These taste like any other tube station shops :(

  • @apt1919 It seems you made a lot of my recipes in a few short hours and didn't like any of them. Go hurl your negativity at someone else.

  • @TitliNihaan Lol, go titli!

  • @apt1919 Well, thats dissapointing for you. But heres some advice,

If you want to make friends, dont insult their videos and call them worse than tube station shops, Because your version of this dish was probably disgusting and tasteless. But titli probably enjoyed it, and we enjoyed it.

    Samosas anyone?

  • loool GO MAKE SOME SAMOSAS...oh you said khodafez :) and the baking idea is great! I always keep myself away from samosas because they're so greasy and filled with calories!

Ill definitely gonna make some baked ones :)

  • They look delicious and easy to make: I'm definitely giving them a try! Thanks for sharing this. A hug from Italy!

  • @68amoula Vraiment? Super! C'est necessaire quand on habite on France :-)

  • @TitliNihaan Y a pas de réponse plus cartésienne que celle là.Titli,tu es presque plus française que britannique!

  • Salam titli...Can you clear something up for me because i think im going crazy.

Have you uploaded a samosa video up before???

Im sure ive seen this video ages ago and ive tried looking for an old video but cant find it...I must of dreamt it.

    Anyway...I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!

Im just having time off from uni and i discovered your videos. I cant wait to get back and try your recipies...your a legend!!!!

Happy ramadan..until next time, KHUDA HAFIZ!!!

P.S any cheap student friendly curry recipes?

  • @786bizl Try Madras. It's really easy and the ingredients are not difficult!

  • Oh yes, I did make this before. I'm remaking my earlier videos in HD for another project I'm working on - Titli's Busy DVD!

  • coincidentally I still have some Titli Samosas in the freezer, having them later. :) yummy!!

  • Excellent twist with the mash! I'm making lamb ones tonight! Thanks for sharing! Please could you possibly do a recipe for an old English classic of corned beef hash? I just saw your pie recipe and it made me think of it! xx

  • this is an absolutely tasty recipe.. but when i shallow fry the samosa's they tend to become moist in a while.. can u suggest something for that??

  • @safuraism With hot oil they should be crispy when you have just made them. However, in my experience they become "moist" after a few hours. I don't know if anyone else has any tips on keeping samosas crispy after they have been cooked?

  • Eh Titli j'ai failli me casser la figure en me précipitant dans ma cuisine pour préparer ces samoussas.Une question d'une importance cruciale:quels sont ceux que tu préfères, les frits ou les cuits au four?

  • @agnesdeque Hmmm. Les cuits au four, je pense...

  • @TitliNihaan J'en étais sûre

  • of course they look like samosas - it's yours that must be odd!!!

  • wow thank you , i have to try it

  • I never heard of Samosas. :x

  • i would be prepared to trade my mum in for you. all your food looks lovely

  • Just reading on the web you can make samosas using Brick pastry so that's my experiment for the day as you have an excellent video on how to make Brick pastry (not sure how well it will stick together).

    Top channel this!

  • Hiya,

Would it be okay to substitute olive oil for the vegetable oil in the dough?

    Thanks Titli..have a great day!

  • Im running into my kitchen right now to make this! :):):)

  • @romerouno17 Send me some...

  • Thank you very much. I have searching all over for a recipe to make Baked Samosa. Thanks Again.

    Appreciate the work.

  • Ooo thank you very much dear TitliNihaan,

This shall be very useful. Sometimes I see ready made pastry sheets in the shops, but hate seeing a detestable ingredient listed that just sickens me when I read it: Mono and Di-glyceride's of fatty acids!

So thanks for this! I can make my own pastry now!

  • what sauce would you recommend with these tasty samosa's

  • @hareem A nice raita, or some mango chutney...

  • great recipe i will have to try it one day if i ever forget my mom's recipe :P

jk but i do use my mom's recipe

    also

  • Titties, as usual those look delicious. In AmeriKa, they are called pierogies, it's a polish dish.

  • @vanscoyoc

did you seriously just call her titties? lol

  • @vanscoyoc I'm in Warsaw right now and had some perogies stuffed with cabbage and mushrooms for dinner tonight! They are not quite the same as samosas, but they are a similar concept.

    BTW, my name's TITLI :-)

  • (: i eat samosas always, when i finish fasting.

  • Okay, you are the best, very best. I have been looking for a samosa recipe, thank you so much.

On another note, what material did you use to make the template, thank you.

  • @nkadzi A piece of stiff cardboard, about 2 mm thick.

  • This vid is making me hungry for a Vegi Samosa

  • Some baked, please!

  • I seriously want your kitchen. That is the best kitchen I've ever seen. :( Our kitchen is like a walk in closet.

  • @JoanJoan1997 Thanks :-) My kitchen is only about 11' x 7' but I designed and installed it myself.

  • missing the funnys!!!!!!!!

  • assalamu alaikum! I love samosas! Great video!

  • @chonu basically in the samosa potato should be mashed not cut into cubes but if u like is your option but mashed potato tatse is diffrent

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you! Been looking for that for quite some time :)

  • i luuuvvv somosas yum =P

  • auntie u have lost so much weight :O ?

  • Aunty if u try to add little cumin seeds in the dough they will make it more delicious. I have eaten some tasty Samosa back in Pakistan having cumin seeds.

  • love it!

  • the potatoes shouldnt be mashed so much, they need texture and should be cut in small dice

  • @chonu I prefer mine mashed. You can do yours how you choose. ;-)

  • Your jokes make me laugh whilst I learn how to cook. Thanks Titli. You are a treasure.
