I just noticed that Jordan's hips weren't flat and I was wondering if it's most effective before your opponent drops his weight and scoots on his knees to tighten the choke.
@kenprimo would never work.. who does an arm triangle on their knees?? lol and not only that but you leave yourself susceptible to getting easily mounted while trying to escape
just a scenario like most or jiu jitsu. It is also assuming he doesnt flip his hips and walk up towards your head to tighten it up.

@RickyJeanFrancois it can work. i learned it from one of my purple belts, he tried it on me and almost caught me. try it and see for yourself.
