Please do not forget that the Gnostic texts were once a part of the Bible and there was still a considerable amount of Gnosticism left infused within the Bible even after their removal. I was taught Arminian and Futurist ideas long before I ever knew what they were. In fact I don't remember any mention of any such terms until I started talking to Reformed believers. Before this it wasn't until I attended a Baptist Church that I ever even heard anything resembling serious discussion of Calvinism or criticism of people like Benny Hinn... I hope this gives some indication of just how bad things are in Evangalical/Pentecostal circles.
PS: I didn't explain that the first Churches I went to at age 17 were Pentecostal. My experience up until around 2003 was purely in Pentecostalism, which when I look back it saddens me. This translation differs significantly from most common English translations in that it has restored the original book order of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Tanakh, and restored the Name of the Most High, YHWH / throughout. Also, the names of persons in Scripture are more accurately transliterated into English. For instance, "Jacob" is "Ya'aqob".

@ClementineRoad The Bible often refers to YHWH [Ehyeh-Asher-Ehye] as Adonai (My Lord) because that is what he is, "Lord" and "God" are actually just some of his TITLES. Often Scripture calls YHWH (also called "Yah") by his titles such as "Elohim", " 'Elyon, "El Shaddai". It is out of respect of the divine name that we dont just throw around "YHWH" as if it is meaningless but call him Our Lord God.

Read Hebrews 4; the Sabbath and Canaan have both been used as examples of a certain type of rest which the writer alludes to, which he concludes is faith in Christ. Examples would be the prophets who clearly tell of the day of the Lord which is the coming of Christ and yet use present characters to illustrate it, with immediate fullfillment and future. The sons of God took to themselves wives in Genesis 6. Some say this is only speaking of the sons of seth, yet I believe it is both the sons of seth and also thewatchers

I admire your effort to get out the word about the Jesuits. From other things I have studied, I do believe they are an incredibly dangerous organization. How about the teaching of pre-destination, though? Is it not true that salvation is free to all? (I Timothy 2:3-6; Titus 2:11; II Peter 3:9; Revelation 22:17) While God does choose who will be in Heaven or do certain things here on earth (Romans 9:14-16ff), He does so in perfect foreknowledge (Romans 8:29).

Please do not forget that the Gnostic texts were once a part of the Bible and there was still a considerable amount of Gnosticism left infused within the Bible even after their removal. Even some of Christ's philosophy and Gnostic teachings are inextricably linked. The Epic of Gilgamesh speaks explicitly of E.T 'gods', as do the Sumerian tablets which spawned Genesis, no monotheism in sight. Peace.

Calvinism and Arminianism are both satanic. Lutheranism is the correct salvation theology.
Calvinism teaches the evil doctrine that God predestinates people to damnation, contradicting 1 Timothy 2:4 & 2 Peter 3:9.
Calvinism teaches that God only died for the sins of those predestined to salvation.
Where as Lutheranism teaches that God died for all mankind and that eternal damnation is a result of the unbeliever's sins, rejection of the forgiveness of sins, and unbelief.

Whilst I agree with the Doctrine of sovereign grace, I see a specific time of Tribulation of seven years, expressed in the Revelation to John.
Daniel also speaks of apocalptic events in the distant future, these prophesies are locked up till that time, they will only make sense in that time, when we see these global events occurring. I was taught Arminian and Futurist ideas long before I ever knew what they were. In fact I don't remember any mention of any such terms until I started talking to Reformed believers. Before this it wasn't until I attended a Baptist Church that I ever even heard anything resembling serious discussion of Calvinism or criticism of people like Benny Hinn... I hope this gives some indication of just how bad things are in Evangalical/Pentecostal circles.

PS: I didn't explain that the first Churches I went to at age 17 were Pentecostal. My experience up until around 2003 was purely in Pentecostalism, which when I look back it saddens me. But by the grace of God, tired of the thorns of legalism, confusion, always floundering in my faith and walk I began to pray, "Lord, I don't know anything anymore and I don't trust anything anyone tells me... @ClementineRoad Yes the word "baal" IS the Hebrew AND Babylonian equivalent of the English word lord. You must understand though that when referring to the Most High God the translators of Scripture into English used LORD, with a capital "L" and sometimes even all capitals for the whole word, so it makes a clear disctinction between the Lord (capital L) and the various lords (lower case l) of the world. Nothing wrong with referring to YHWH-IeHoVaH as "LORD" or "GOD" cause he IS OUR Lord.

This is merely talking about the coming of Jesus and the covenant of the marriage of the Church to the Lord. This translation differs significantly from most common English translations in that it has restored the original book order of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Tanakh, and restored the Name of the Most High, YHWH / throughout. Also, the names of persons in Scripture are more accurately transliterated into English. For instance, "Jacob" is "Ya'aqob".

@ClementineRoad The Bible often refers to YHWH [Ehyeh-Asher-Ehye] as Adonai (My Lord) because that is what he is, "Lord" and "God" are actually just some of his TITLES. Often Scripture calls YHWH (also called "Yah") by his titles such as "Elohim", " 'Elyon, "El Shaddai". It is out of respect of the divine name that we dont just throw around "YHWH" as if it is meaningless but call him Our Lord God.

@theveryelect24 To give him some credit. He's only going to end up undermining the purpose of those individuals seeking the truth and ultimately keep them from sensible knowledge and absorbing them into ecumenical new age/rosicrucian beliefs.

I think the "Illuminati" is basically a scapegoat for all the worlds problems. It's a shadowy, intangible, hypothetical network that absorbs everyone's attention, and yet can never actually be pointed to in any sort of crime. No one can ever "charge" the Illuminati with terrorism or whatever - so all the crimes continue to go unpunished (at least by earthly representatives anyway).

My dad's favorite show a few years ago was called Prison Break. I never had any interest in it, but I was just reading about it and I found out that the main character's name is "Scofield" and is a graduate of Loyola University! These people love to play their little games with us, don't they. The more I get into scripture however and away from the internet, the more I find myself saying 'let them have their games!' The Bible allows for such a wonderful peace of mind and spirit.

@ele12957returns Why is the entire theme of the book of Job based on the fact that satan can do nothing to God's elect unless God allows it? The people are blind as they follow their father, as Christ said in John 8:44; seeing as we are all by nature children of wrath (Ephesians 2:3). You are viewing satan and sinful man as being entirely separate and with no relationship. Please read Ephesians 2:3 in its context.

@ele12957returns I think I see where we are going here. Should I take it that you are a pelagian? If so the doctrine that developed of original sin is entirely Biblical and to deny it is heretical. To suggest that there is something in man that can or desires to choose God and His mercy is alien to the Bible. I will not get into a debate regarding the heresy of pelagianism which Augustine rightly defended; we should thank God that he did. Pelagianism is wrong:
