  • this song fits fallout 3

  • Good grief! nobody cares if you´re 15 , 16 or whatever if you´re into this kind of music great, pat yourself mentally on the back and that´s it. Don´t expect any awards for recognizing true inspiration. It´s not a requirement to like this type of music to be human, but I´m not gonna lie it DAMN SHOULD BE. Stop posting your ages as if it were an f-ing child molestors catalog (with good taste, musical taste at that)

  • haha funny first picture

  • What has fallout 3 to do with this song?

  • id trade the cat screaming sound we call music today for the real music from 1990 to 1960

  • awesome version from MR JOHNNY CASH ..... LEGEND YOU WILL LIVE ON THROUGH MY CHILDREN

  • maybe cause of the whole "dad" thing.

  • When the Fallout picture came up i was like, "WHAT!?" "THIS MORE OF A NEW VEGAS SONG!!"

  • @hape2009pc I think like stevert208 said if he didnt write the song he originally sang it.

  • All Fathers who listen to this song no matter how good a Father or how poorly they where are left with tears and wonder if they could have done just a little better than they did.

  • Johny Cash gone HARD

  • @Jacksport888 Have you heard his cover "Hurt"? Fucking awesome xD

  • "Cat's in the Cradle" is a 1974 folk rock song by Harry Chapin

  • Harry chaplin im pretty positive wrote the song, or if not he originally sang it.

  • I love this song its one of my favs but it makes me sad

  • The original was Harry Chapin.

  • harry chapin did original and was killed shortly after... awesome song.

  • @KMcombine Yeah this is ture he has made better songs

  • He is awesome but not as good with this song, Doesn't have the same heart pulling strings the original or the uglykidjow version has.

This is more indifferent and upbeat.

  • @hrdknox2000 No problem

  • @JZDestruction : It's Cat Stevens

  • cool rendition. never heard it before! thanks for posting!

  • Harry Chapin is the orig artist.

  • @justvari Thanks for your information......

  • Harry Chapin.......

  • @itsallgood239 No Johnny Cash was not the original writer of this song, Im not entierly sure exactly who the original writer was but Im certin it was not Johnny Cash, he was just a cover for the song. Also I agree with you this is a great song.

  • @JZDestruction Cat Stevens

  • @JZDestruction Harry Chapin wrote it..

  • @JZDestruction

I believe it was Harry Chapin

  • @poetsprophet73 ya it was

  • @JZDestruction The oriiginalsinger was Harry Chapman.

  • @JZDestruction Harry Chapin

  • @JZDestruction Harry Chapin wrote it and sang it originally

  • @JZDestruction Harry Chapin

  • @JZDestruction

    Its Harry Chapin

  • @JZDestruction The Exact story is that Harry Chapin's wife wrote the song as a poem, and at the time Mr. Chapin didn't want to create the song, but a year or so before his death, Mr. Chapin created a song version of the song his wife made. 1 year later, Mr. Chapin Died in a car accident on the way home from a show.

  • @JZDestruction It's like Harry Chapin or something like that.

  • @JZDestruction Harry Chapin was the original writer of the song,

Cash just ruins songs and take credit for it, like NIN's hurt by turning it into a horrible country song.

  • @Nos482 how has johnny cash taken credit for this song in any way?

  • @Nos482 Personally I think he manages to strip the emotion from this song but what he does to hurt is a lot

  • @Nos482 Johnny Cash never took credit for a song he never wrote. And Nine Inch Nails sayed in an interview that Johnny Cash practicly owned that song.

  • @JZDestruction

The original writer of Cats In The Cradle is Harry Chapin.

  • Is JK the original creator of this song? I have heard it by Guns n Roses and Ugly Kid Joe. This cover is good. I'm not even really into this style of music but how can you not like this song?

  • @itsallgood239 actually the GnR never covered this song everyone thinks ugly kid joe is GnR but GnR never covered this song even though it would be awsome if they did.

  • Love Johnny Cash, dedicated to my son.

  • crappy video
