Yes, one could use soy milk if they REALLY wanted to. And, you're right - it does contain estrogen...not something a bodybuilder or anyone trying to gain lean muscle wants. If someone is lactose intolerant, I generally point them to Almond milk or Rice milk. Research is just now detailing the adverse/harmful effects of using soy products.
you can use soy milk if you are lactose intolerant, it is lactose free but it also has estrogen!!
