@vivianmark Simply use your FTP/SFTP client to change permissions on directories and files (but be CAREFUL) and yes, setting permissions as 777 grants all read/write/execute globally and is something you should never do unless there is a specific reason to do so (upload directory for instance).
How did you set the permission for "files" at the cloud sites? Would 777 make my website vulnerable?
