  • Hi, i just got this amp and i have a question. What is the use of the midi input on the back of the amp?

  • i take it ur not much of a singer kermit

  • 9 personas no se follaban al ampli.

  • el diablo !

  • I had a GMX 212 for 5 years then gave it to my nephews.Great amp!! The line out is awesome for recording.

  • @dalekenjarvis I LOVE my 212. All I did was throw a distortion pedal on and it's a nearly perfect amp for me.

  • Is This Rob ZOmbie without makeup?

  • HAHAHAHA HE REALLY LOOKS LIKE SATAN!!! HAHAHAHA CAN'T STOP LAUGHING!!!

  • I don't know why people hang it on behringer amps.they might be cheaper bur for the money they sound great.I wouldn't part with mine.

  • satan can play guitar !

  • this amp sounds very solid state. the setting at 4:02 sounds awful and and fake.

  • hahaha at the end he looks like " WTF, is this effect"

  • DO NOT USE METAL HEADS TO DEMO AMPS. thanks

  • Ficou ruim! ta muito baixo o volume das distorções!

  • godamnit it hate this demo guy. PAY ME IN GEAR AND ILL DEMO YOUR SHIT BEHRINGER!!!!!THIS DUDE IS TERRIBLE AT IT!sry, but yah.

  • this thing sounds very nice,i might just get one

  • I hereby double dog dare you to say BEER - RINGER and not

Bare - injure - Uli would be very pleased you know.

I mean how would like it if people the world over who worked for you

could not even say your name correctly ?? It would break your heart wouldn't it ?

    Google FORVO for pronunciation .

  • Love my GMX212

  • I have this amp its cheap but you have to buy some effects becouse

    it dont have enought gain

  • He sounds like Kermit the frog :L

  • lol theres always someone pointing out the errors in the video

  • Beer - Ringer bitte !! ( Norvo.com)

  • Smokey says "Only you can prevent mid scooping!"

  • Low-8

    Mid-4 or 5

    High-7 or 8

    not a bad tone,

why does this guy insist on cutting the mids?

  • @jonnyshredfayce because, "cutting mids gives you br00tal metal tones d00d".

  • i have this amp it lacks the distortion the metal tones just isnt good enough

  • wait until mis Piggy shows up!!!!!!!!!

  • I didn't know kermit the frog could play guitar.

  • @mikamee14 - He is not quite as high pitched as Kermit but I can hear his accent !!

  • This dude looks like a huge tool

  • @Nandwar213 - Where is your video ?

  • Comment removed

  • If you search Joe Delaney, you will see that he was a sports legend that died and this is just him visiting us with Satan's body. And Kermit the frog's voice. To show us the latest guitar gear.

  • @Whyrendog dude,....HAHAHHA!

    fucking awesome,hahahaa.damn XD

  • @megadv8r What's even funnier is one of these has a video response "Bugera Dude Is Satan" about choked to death when I saw that.

  • is the guitar Behringer ?

  • do any of these amps come with a footswitch for changing channels?

  • @JohnTheRipper2 The amps all come with a nice sturdy 2 button footswitch for switching channels and turning the effects on/off. The footswitch can also be used to activate the tuner as well.

  • @JohnTheRipper2 for example GMX212

  • do you need a cabnit ?

  • you might try a peavey vypyr

  • I have the GMX212 combo. I have owned this amp since March of 2005. I was looking for a 212 combo amp and was all set to buy the Line6 SpiderII. I put the GMX212 and the Spider side by side in Guitar Center and played my 1975 Les Paul Standard thru both of them. The Behringer actually sounded better. I also bought the FCB1010 midi board too. I have played venues from small clubs to outdoor festivals (mic'ed). This amp has never let me down.

  • @kempavenueband would you recommend it to a guitar player with about 1.5 years of experience for practice and mic'ed live sessions?

  • @JohnTheRipper2 My opinion is that this is a really good amp for both practice and playing live. At home for practice I use the headphone jack to a good set of Sony headphones. For smaller venues (smaller clubs and parties) I run the amp straight with no mic. It is load enough to more than keep up with the drummer and other guitar player and bass. For live venues, I mic it to the PA using a Shure SM57. For gigs, I would recommend the FCB1010 midi board to control the effects.

  • Barchetta Valve Amp

  • I dont like it. Its too bassy and has too much feedback.

  • @TheAirsoftcrazy I own the amp and totally agree it does have too much feedback but i love alot of low end but so i liked it. If anything you should get a noise suppressor pedal if you buy and behringer

  • Thus amp sucks for metal like metallica/pantera/slayer and any

    Metal newer than that.....

I have this amp and I hate it!

  • hey this is probably the only talented guitarist there

  • If you guitar is mono can you use a stereo amp?

  • @posiedonpowertrio

yes. Stereo amp has nothing to do with your guitar. Stereo amp has to do with the connection between your Amp -> Cabinet (if your cabinet is stereo)

  • I'm going to get the GMX212 combo because it's cheaper and it's still the same wattage

  • I'm really looking at the GMX 1200H, seems pretty good though.

  • Too much guitar for a CLown.

  • 100th comment! lol. This sounds pretty great for SS.Anyone tried their tube combo?Oh btw whay anyone know of a pedal in general thats still clean but gives you more harmonic overtones, or just a really in your face big clean, ala john frusciante "snow" or any john mayer clean?

  • Does that stack amp head come with a footswitch

  • He said , u.s. wide open. hahaha

  • he reminds me of the guy from lazy town

  • i have a behrenger amp and it sounds great.

  • sounds very digital

  • it's analog, i have a digital behringer amp

  • oh gosh! O__o World music supply finally got a GOOD guitar player. Joe>Whammy. Poor whammy.. =S

  • Hey all, what setting do you use for heavy metal sounds? I saw this amp in a shop but couldn't get the sound as in the vid. Thanks

  • wats ur email?

  • Comment removed

  • I got the GMX1200H head&cab, sounds sweet once you crank it up :)

  • i imagine this guy doesnt have any shampoo in his house

  • The amp he use in the vid sound great and its cheap, i dont think its a bad idea to buy it !!!

  • I've never had any problems with behringer equipment..I own a behringer mic-412 stereo cab-b212a powered monitor, awsome!- all work flawlessly...and sound damn GOOD!

  • I want to buy GMX212 but ive heard its not heavy enough for stuff like Metallica / Pantera... should i buy a Boss MetalZone Stomp Box to give some distortion to it ? or is it good enough?

  • dude this is good enough

  • hell no dont get a boss metal zone dude. Thats the last pedal u want for distortion.

  • stop cuting the mids please!!!!!

  • i got the 112...the effects are okay but the british and the calif mode is crap with my telecaster!

  • thats cuz telecasters suck :)

    just kidding

I can imagine a california model (recto) would not be that great with a Tele though

  • i own both the half stack and the 30 watt combo and the halfstack is insane i play in a heavy metal band and its very very loud with amazing tone and surprisingly heavy distortion but it also has great british and american blues sound. the 30 watt will blow you away i used it for a head on my cab for the longest time and it has stud up to everything and it was plenty loud enough for shows. these amps are amazing just make sure you get the 400 watt handling cab or you risk blowing speakers

  • I need to demo this amp

  • i love the bottom end on this one

  • ammm

    ask again.

  • I just purchased the 212. It is worth every dime.

  • i think marshal amps are better xD

  • Would this amp be good for classic rock... i play a lot of Zep and Pink Floyd type stuff and I was considering getting the 210 version of this amp... would this be a good choice...

  • I had the 210 and I upgraded to the 212 because it has a presence control, which makes a big difference in the sound. If you only want to play at home, get the 210. If you want to play out, get the 212. And yes these are excellent for classic rock in my opinion. I can get tons of rock tones out of mine and the effects are cool too.

  • is the 210 loud?? like loud enough for a band??

  • You're better off with the 212. It's louder, sounds better, and it's not expensive at all. The 210 to me is better as a home practice amp.

  • i have the same question but im going for the

    2 x12

  • if you plan on playing that kind of music you NEED to get a tube amp. marhalls, classic fender, check out bogner, dr z, 35 amps, orange, vox

  • yea i know what you mean but i aint got that kinda cash... im trying to get decently close for much cheaper...

  • how much is your budget?

  • under $400...

  • check out the blackheart bh15-112 all tube combo. AMAZING sounding amps for a good price. new i think is 450. check out pro guitar shop. com's review of this series.

  • yea

  • hey! you hardly did the gmx1200 justice on this demo here! I was going to get an ampeg vh140c and stumbled on a demo model gmx1200 like this one! I no longer care about that ampeg. this has been my main rig for a couple years now, and it blows away everyone that steps into the shop and plays it! Several gigging musicians want to borrow it, but mine is a dedicated studio rig. At first I thought the effects would be lame, but I have many favorites that I go to all the time, great chourus & phaser!

  • ravens are ok mabye a marshall combo or a rocktron or create all good 4 under $200

  • this amp is probably good for hard rock and metal..like gnr or metallica

  • Which one is better and why?

This(210 version) or the Peavey Vypyr 30 watt?

If you have any recommendations for amps, up to $200, plz tell me!!

hope this helps others who are trying to decide for an amp.

    Thanks to those who reply!

  • the peavey because it has more tones and efx they are both good amps but the peavey has more stuff on it

  • I agree with Deathloc, this thing has no sound power when I used it for concerts. The cheap Crate stacks have more power and better sound quality than this. I just keep this as a practice amp but even then the tone sounds horrible..

  • +1 for u. i have one of these now and im planning on getting the Bugera 333 or 6262. it just doesnt have the power like u said. its a good amp for the clean channel tho lol.

  • Oh definitely- the clean channel actually is pretty good, the one thing I like about the amp haha

  • lol learn how to set it up for the sound you want it has a good sound. you just have to spend a little time with it. good clean to metal even the drop d,c,or even drop b it has a good tonei have a gmx 110 212 and stack the 110 it good for pratice the 212 is good rehearsle and the stack is good for shows

  • สั้นๆ .... โดน!!!!! +10

  • This guy should shave and learn how to play guitar

  • agreed

  • * cough * fag..

  • The Behringer stuff is pretty weird...some things are good, but the effect pedal cases bad... but i don't think these amps are good for studio recordings, just for jamming..

  • the v-amp is good but, the gmx not so hot

  • i love this. he does a good review, it sounds good, he plays decently with it.

  • how much would the 4X12 and the head cost???? do reply

  • 350 at retail, I got it second hand for 220 altogether.

  • do you like the amp? im thinking about buying it just because i have the smaller v-tone amp and i like the tone

  • I think its a good as a first amp, because i wasn't satisfied with the tone, so i put it on bypass mode, and its a great power amp for my zoom pedal, Ive even heard about people putting it on bypass and using a smaller V-amp as the preamp, for more gain and a higher quality tone. Its a good price for a power amp.

  • ok i just experimented with the vamp2 mod.. which is what this behringer amp has... and not impressed with it.. kinda shit..think will stay with crate amp with dsp or marshall and few pedals... that's all.

  • This is the V-TONE series, not the V-AMP series, so no, the Behringer's he's demoing do not have the V-Amp in them. I own a V-Tone 212 (analog) and a V-Amp-Pro rackmount (digital) and I find both to sound really dam good. I use them primarily for recording and the tones I've gotten out of these things have been awesome. Some of the effects aren't that great though.

  • yay i love my v-amp i like the effects on the vypr more

  • They're gonna come out with the V-amp 3 pretty soon, and I'll bet THAT thing will sound really awesome.

  • dude its only okay.. the effects on v-amps are pretty poor.

  • what do you recommend in the same price range? I'm looking for something with a lot of built in effects (echo style mostly)

  • i dont really know man, i have heard the peavy vypyr is good but i have never played it myself.

just with the behringer v-ampires there not very sturdy and not very loud for there wattage. like i have a lx210 berhinger v-ampire and it claimed to be 120 watt buts its not as loud as a 50 watt.

  • Buy a pedal, don't buy these

They suck so much. The tone is crap. I have one. I hate it.

  • I have the V-Ampire one... I SO want to sell it, or give it away to a desperate emo child.

  • yay i mean if you could get the vypr effects on the v-amp i buy it

  • A LOT of those presets have too much bass. You can't hear the high's.

  • which one is better the gmx series or VOX AD50t series?

  • the vox

    behringher is generally crap

  • lol "The twelve hundred"

    and the amp is 2100

  • hey its jack sparrow XD

  • LX1200H vs GMX1200H .. which one's better??

    .. anyone?

  • it just depends on how you like your sound the LX2100H is all digital effects the GMX212 is a analog meaning they are all individually place like have a bunch of different pedals built in the amp i like the GMX i just bought a GMX212 and im waiting for it to arrive.

  • thanks for your reply, it was very helpful.

  • I have the LX1200h how did he get the twin guitar effect at the end?

  • try pitch shifter

  • Comment removed

  • i think its an effect from the amp itself

  • Comment removed

  • he "scooped"(spelling) out the mids

  • wow i love it how he says twelve hundred when it says twenty one hundred...... see for yourselves 1:17..... anyways NICE AMPS

  • it really is a 1200, theres a typo on the screen.

  • can you tell me what settings your using (speaker,amp...low..mid,etc)?????

  • First of all this is an amp demo & second of all why do you need to know what his amp settings are? Do you not know how to set your amplifier? your supposed to be a Musician - I thought musicians were supposed to be creative - set all your controls Flat (on 5) and increase from there - they are all labelled Bass - Mids & Treble - 3 knobs - it's not rocket science - experiment & find your own town - the rest comes from your fingers & pick attack - get busy!!!!!

  • by the way i dont know how to set my amplifier..and dont u think that all the musicians fucking know (thats why theirs sound techin.)...its cool that you found time to reply to my fucking coment.but next time ,ive your going to reply whit that atitude dont bother...

  • You need a sound tech to set your amp??? That's the funniest thing I have heard of - judging by your comment you need to A - Stay in school & B - Take some anger Management classes - Dude - Guy - Hey man - someone teach me how to set my amp - the 3 bass - middle & treble knobs are soooo confusing - someone help me - I'm Lost in Space!!!!!!!!!

  • dude whats the problem whit you??...did you just deceided from one moment to another just to make your self a enemy??..be cool dude...

  • Yeah, I'm the first
