First of all, your videos are amazing and extremely valuable to newbies like me. Where did you get your loco shop--is that scratch built? You are a master modeler and very creative by the way. I thought I was the only one that anal retentive about the details-- nice work!
I love your work. You are truely the best in my eyes. I watch your videos over an over again so I can learn more. I love CSX, Norfolk Southern, Conrail, and Amtrak........Keep it going and never stop. Your friend from Philadelphia , Pa Big Lou, a.k.a Bucco....They just built a rail shop here in South Philly By Hyda.....
Niice, very nice layout. You've done a lot of hard work on this. Looks like the only thing left to do is lighjt up the headlights on the car at the guard shack and the headlights on the big truck at the top of the hill, it would make your night scene come moer to life. Keep it up, doing excellent job man!
you are the best. absolutely terrific job. I've seen the entire project from start to finish and I know you have got to be really proud of your accomplishment. I await the next phrase with much anticipation. I've learn tons about the many aspects of modeling. Thanks. What's next?
Nice engine yard! Hey, are your lights in the buildings and around the layout LED or incondescent? If they are LED, .....how many do you have on one circuit and what is your power source? Thanks -just wondering. Great Job.
@NSmodeler24 Hey Josh, hows it going. As far as the lights around the Loco shop, the Loco shop itself has four 12v mini Flouresent bulbs. Street lights and building are incandesent and the ones inside of the tunnel are LED. Remember, these were the Christmas lights that I took apart and used with their own transformer. I do plan to use some LED in buildings in the future. With the Radio shack transformers you can select the voltage down to 3 volts.
Its going great! thanks. How about you? Alright cool thanks! Ime just starting to build buildings and am going to try to get lights in most of them. thanks again! I look forward to seeing more progress on the layout
I thoroughly enjoy your updates and marvel at what you are doing. It is certainly inspiration in doing the renos on my own layout. I have used some of your wiring techniques which have helped immensely. Keep 'em coming.
Just amazing work you have done! I have been waiting patiently for this grand pay off, and I must admit it was TOTALLY worth it! Killer freakin job, FlyMan!!
@jbrunsonjr Thanks man, how have you been. Have not seen any more layout videos from you since (I believe you moved). Don't forget: "Dipped Cone Yummmm".
@flymanjg - Yeah, put all my junk in storage in order to have cheap rent for a while and spend my money having fun. Have a GF who wants a nice round gift, so whatever money I'm now blowing, goes into savings for her. : ) I'll be back in action soon enough - trust me, I am over this multi-roommate thing! Until then, I have to live vicariously through your build!
Like I said in 48F, all the detail is very nice! Seeing the diesel shop at night and lit looks very cool! Were there any thoughts of adding workers in the shop?
Hey Flyman..Of all the videos I've seen on You Tube, yours are by far the most inspiratonal to me. Thanks so much for taking the time to post them! Can't wait for more.
Nice crossing.

A real museum piece of work, although the crossing pro's are way too bright at night. Any way to tone it done a bit, or am I wrong?
Silver1Sprg 1 year ago
@Silver1Sprg No, you are correct. Later on I may bump up the resistors so they are not as bright.
