  • PREACH DIESEL PREACH!

  • never heard bout this situation, who ever said it,is a faggot

  • Real Talk......

    Rest In Peace J. Dilla.

  • niggaz is corny thats why they do the shit, dilla been hot since before i knew who he was and was bumpin his tracks. industry niggaz is corny, i feel you now all of a sudden you hear a bunch of dilla clones, niggaz aint have to use the microwave they jumped on his style while it was still hot then say they making a tribute, i cant say i recognized him since day 1 but i can say ive been bumpin him since i can remeber, j dilla music is like a class and it taught me alot of shit as far as MUSIC!!!

  • is he talkin bout raek, lotus, doom....etc?

  • After seeing that I started to look up his music I couldn't stop playing that song when I had first heard it. I dont remenber when did I found out he had passed maybe it was in that video. But I could tell you this I might had not know him much while he was here. But I love his music, he change the way I listen to music. His music is so beautiful that it is exactly what I have been looking to hear on my ipod. Wish he was here.

  • I found out about Dilla through goggle.com. I was searching music producers and he came up. I read about how he was sick but was getting healthier. I also read about how he would just want to make beats all day, that he didn't want to eat he would just want to make beats all day that had shock me. But at that time I heard only one song from him and said to myself that I will look up more of his music later on. Then time past a bit, I saw is won't do video on Rap City recorded it too.

  • Can't lie on the truth.

  • Man Feel Lyke Shit Now.....Yeah, Imma Break Bread And Cut Them Checks Asap.....

  • i still got my 1999 promo sticker to this day

  • damn Q tip robbed him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i know right how brainwashed are people if anyone should be doin songs on dillas beats it should be his brother

  • First time I ever heard of Dilla when he was first known as Jay-Dee was through his production on De La Soul's "Stakes Is High",The Pharcyde's "Runnin Away" and "Drop" and then over to Tribe's "The Beats Rhymes and Life"...When he did "It's Going Down" for Mad Skillz that's when he actually caught my full attention and I would just see his name appear on alot of the I would purchase that attracted my ears.I'm a fan of J-Dilla but not a crazy big fan like everybody seems to be claiming now.

  • Don't Forget Cash Flow!!!!!!!!

  • I been loving Dilla since..no wait JAY DEE since Beats Rhymes And Life. Im from BK and I was An Avid ATCQ and pharcyde fan so i knew his work. growing up and I remember When I first got my hands on that slum village tape my uncle gave me I was in AZ and I had kids out there going crazy over that shit. Everyone kept saying yo those beats man that shit is crazy. TOO bad for bandwagon niggas..or maybe not because when Dilla passed I took that shit very hard and I was even depressed for a minute.

  • Beats Rhymes and Life is where I got familiar with the Jay Dee sound too.

  • YO Q DEE MY NUKKA. KEEP'N IT REAL!!!( "ITS SUPPOSED TO BE HIS BROTHER YOU STUPID ASS NUKKAS") LOL rip dilla dog and i can only rep the real and the raw

  • how many times did he say the n-word lol ... but i agree with his message.

  • well i mean if i wanted to make a track i would dedicate it to dilla theres nothing wrong with showin love everybody dont have money to do all that and give yall money i mean you feel what im sayin and its not just for fame it could be cuz we really dedicatin the shit so to hate on me for that doesnt make sense

  • Man where these pictures for the ssenepod album?

  • I can only presume he's talkin bout industry dudes bein phony...coz in fairness thers nothin wrong wit gettin into an artist an their work after they passed....

  • I never heard anybody frontin on ILLA-J but for those who sleep.......i heard tracks that Illa-j produced himself.......and they were nothing less than genius.......Dilla brother iz sick!

  • i have only known dilla for almost 2 years after he passed, a great producer but crazy music maker. its real to talk about whats going on the industry with people not giving dilla's mother a dime for the debts she has to pay off but also for her own health, i heard she has lupus also? is it true

  • i wish i was able to listen to dilla beats eailer

but i have been a fan of dilla 3 years before he died so

    i wouldn't call phony

but i love dilla i hate nigga's who cant contribute to anybody who truly works with him

    if i could i would

  • I been fucking with Jay Dee (before he was called J Dilla) ever since Mad Skillz' (before he was just Skillz) From Where in 95/96, and niggas talked mad shit about me then because I wasn't playing 2Pac like everyone else. I was playing mostly underground shit like this. So I definitely know how Que D feels. They say underground hip hop artists/fans hate, but the mainstream cats actually hate more when most underground shit eventually become legendary and most mainstream shit doesn't.

  • yeah see with me i was introduced to tht kinda rap music by my dad because thtz all he eva listened to and i'm glad cuz tht kinda music is real

i mean i been listing to mos def talib kweli and slum village for the longest and i mean mt heart is into that kinda music i mean tha shit they play now is fuckin garbage like no lie

but this underground aint goin no where

  • The whole Illa J situation should he common sense. seriously. How is it ok for a no-name rapper to rhyme over a Dilla beat and call it a "tribute" or whatever, but when Dilla's own BROTHER wants to use some of Dilla's beats, he get's hated on? Good stuff Scrap for putting this out!
