Here I am again. What exact whistle of the Dixon line does Will play on? I looked them up; and there are several. I'm thinking it's the "Plastic Tony Dixon Whistle with Brass Slide" that costs $43 at the site I looked at. Is Will's a "high D"?

It is a high D, and he is indeed playing the Plastic Tony Dixon Whistle with Brass Slide in this video. We like it because it has a very "crisp" "bright" sound. Thanks again for your comments!

I play outside to not bother others as I rent an apt. Because I play outside I'm wondering... does the Dixon Will plays on have a lot of volume and can play into the third octave fairly well? I play a lot into the 2nd and low end of 3rd octave on my Walton D in echoy places. Will sure looks Irish. My sister took me to Achille Isand as a gift. I like your echo effect and can see Will blend in with the magical Emerald Isle I love so. I get goose bumps when he plays ha! Thanks again!

Those are some very flattering words you use! :-)

The Dixon Will's playing does have good volume and it reaches the higher end pretty well; in my opinion I would say it is better in those respects than the Walton D. As to the echo, that's a result of the space he's playing in not having much to absorb the sound.

This is a video I came across of Will playing Dennie Murphy's Slide. I'm afraid it created a bit of an a/v synch problem with all the fiddling and fidgeting to correct the parameters for youtube. I have always enjoyed listening to him play this special tune; I hope you enjoy it as well.
