On the 5-3 level with the rotating platform (around 7:00 on this video) you can get the emblem before you even get on the platform. As soon as you walk through the door, equip the rpg (rocket launcher) and aim at the booth directly up in front of you. (Well, you can move over to where the items crates are and hit it from there anyways) That's where it will be located. It might take you once or twice depending on exactly how you shot it. It also works with a grenade launcher. (Exploding rounds)

@Wolf1is1MY1handle I found out what happened, my copy of the game had a glitch in it that caused the emblem to be hidden, it was there just not visually. After I shot the spot and then re-played the level it was there in plain sight. Weird huh?
