Hey, netlord80..Whats your beleif on women that are raped, should they be allowed to have an abortion. In cetain circumstances do you think its "alright" to have one.
A fetus is not a someone. Also, like it or not, abortion is one method of taking responsibility. Noone would want to snuff out an established human life, but simply put a fetus is a shell. Our thoughts and feelings and experiences make us people. Sure fetii are human fetii, but that doesn't make them worth wrecking a woman's life for the sake of something that is not even a person yet. Look up George Carlin's "pro life is anti woman" He raises some good points in a comical manner.
There are thousands upon thousands of kids in foster care. Let the gay couples and infertile couples adopt them. Adoption solves unwanted parenting, not unwanted pregnancy. And I'd like to see your sources for waiting lists years long for adoption. Because I can't find it anywhere.
umm i hate to contradict you, but a woman can have a child with another woman, they just need artifical insimation (sp) but i agree mostly up to now i was ok with abotion...but your right if they do not want to look after the child...give them to somone who can.
You don't address the subject of terminating a pregnancy in the cases of rape, incest or the discovery of severe genetic mutations of the embryo.
I have to disagree with your analogy between an embryo (first trimester of the pregnancy) and the ederly. Granted, many of our elderly need living assistance. However, this does not involve the physical attachment to another living person.
It wasn't really an anlogy between a new embryo and the ederly. He was comparing and contrasting embryos with the physically uncapable ederly and he used them in terms of unable to survive alone. If he would have used it in terms of analogy, he would've compared embryos to all the world's ederly. A big mojority of ederly people can survive on their own he used the needy ederly to show the trait of an embryo, but that's not the point.

In the strictest sense artificial insemination does require a man to provide the sperm.

I love your video, thank you for posting your thoughts on this
If the unborn is not a human being, no justification for abortion is Necessary
However, if the unborn is a human being, no justification for abortion is adequate. Except to save the life of the mother.
