Why not just leave the engine vertical, weld a cog to the drive shaft, then add a matching cog at a 90 degree with your clutch/gear, then add your belt/chain to the axle and your golden

U have to make a sent in the gas tank reroute the fuel lines spin the Darb and crest a oil spoon inside the crankcase. There a video on how to make it verticle

@TheRNRprojects you can turn it on its side it takes about and hour if you have the tools and you have the old one there also take the oil flicker out of it and put it in the other and there you go pretty easey and then you just move the carb and gas tank a round but it can be done.

@TheRNRprojects you can turn the motor and the the gas and oil tank vertical but the motor is still designed to run up right now the internals are going for side to side instead of up and down dont you think the motor will starve for oil?
