The more I watch and listen to this,its like the wast gate just opened up and let all the air out.

Sounds like its not carrying enuff rpms to keep the turbo spooled up.(maybe to big of a turbo).or too much timing...thee a working progress.took me a season to get the engine rite,and now the clutch isent rite.I seen the truck .don't know the guy that has it .but he might still be learning diesel...it has potentule.watch for it in the 300 foot

@superinventor1 Yup, pulls better than Dodge or Chevy, no gear hunting (Dodge) or stalling (Chevy), tried both trucks which were 1 ton and both failed.

I think this is Rob Fulmers old truck. Built by Carson Stauffer. He pulled for a year or so with a 7.3 but engine went out and the truck was worthless (theft recovery) and It got a Cummins, Rob got out and sold her.

Rob sold the truck to a guy in Md who wanted the motor. that guy in turn sold it as a roller with no motor to a buddy of mine here in Baltimore. He never got around to putting the cummins in it, just recently sold it to another kid from VA or NC.

ya it was for sale on cummins forum. came with a 12 valve to drop in it. no more powerstroke fro this truck

thats because it started hoping and he got out of it and the turbo stoped spooling

Yep...on a big turbo once you loose the boost you'll never get it back under a load like that.

i think once they get the hop out of it it will run good, every time ive seen it run it hops really bad and does the same exect thing every time generally at the same distance
