really great sound from just one classic synth and drum samples. I think one of Rushent's techniques was to multi track one synth sound - maybe this could be a way of beefing up some elements with the slightest variation/detune on each pass. Not a criticism just a possible idea to try out? (that's hoping you saved the patches or at least noted it all down). Would love a JP6 - why don't Roland make them like this anymore?
This is REALLY good. Superb sound reproduction and sequencing with just a JP6. Criticisms? Very tiny: stabs could be less fizzy and the bass patch could have a little more punch. But if I could pull off something like this I would feel very proud of myself. Brilliant.
You sir... is a bad mother shut your mouth!!! I am a fellow Jupiter 6 owner and cubase user. Your track sounds great! What kind of preamps and a/d converters did you use. :) Is it possible it could have shined even more?
@kolakube123 Well, I suppose it wasn't that easy for the J6 but it succeeded :-) I do a lot of music production in many different styles and there is always a role for the J6. It can be raw and transparent at the same time. That's what I like about the 6!

Great job, great post!, ..... you are 80 % close to MR's original. ... An amazing reproduction!
your strong side is the synth parts.
All you need to get that 90% emulation is to use a LM-1 along with your fantastic synth work.
.... and for you to use a JP6 years after DUWM!
Great work again .... really impressed..

I owned a Jupiter 4 and to be honest it was damned hard to not make it sound like Dare. (Which was a good thing in my book)

Im actually thinking of swapping out my Alesis Andromeda for a Jupiter 6. Have been for some time.
If you can afford too pick up a Juptier 4. There superb mate. Any fan of Love and Dancing couldn't fail to love one.
