  • That is like the concorde of paperplanes, impressive

  • That was cool. But some poor kid might have been traumatized for life over an attack by a paper air plane that came from outer space.

  • Now I hafta make some paper airplanes!! :D

  • Thank you, Nick! :-)

  • Awesome toss..

You should definitely write creepy notes on them before folding and tossing. ^__^

    Cheers.. J.

  • Thanks Jason.

And Chris did write stuff on the planes. He wrote: "I love you, from supricky06... google it!"

    LOL!

    :-)

  • Of course he did... hahahaha.

  • Shameless!!

  • It's going.. and going. That was beautiful :)

  • Thanks mck! Yeah, we were pretty stoked about it. :-)

  • So much fun! I wanna live high up so I can throw shit off my balcony!

  • Go to the roof of any building and do it. This way if it hits someone, you won't get in trouble! :-)

  • I will have to wait until I am in San Diego to do that.

  • I wanna play!

  • Let's play! :-)

  • Hey! just have to ask, are you in one of those new condo's downtown? thought I spied the coronado bridge in the distance? wow! they were just starting the construction on those when I left! nice pad! makes me miss SD every time!! *pines*

ooo! if you are downtown, can you hit Balboa park with one (paper plane)??

  • Yeah, that's where I am. The crazy thing is, despite the housing market, new buildings are still being constructed. I don't know how they're going to sell them.

As far as Balboa Park, you can actually see it in the beginning of the video (0:06). I doubt I can hit it with a paper plane... unless I make it out of heavy duty paper, and attach a rubber-band propeller to it. LOL!

When're you coming back to SD?

    :-)

  • I tried that once... it flew straight down and hit some kid on the head.

  • Did the kid deserve it? Because that will deserve an "Awesome" comment or "Aww... why did you do that Mast?" comment.

    *praying for awesome*

  • one of my fondest memories was going to a college football game when I was like 11 or 12... people got bored and started throwing paper airplanes... I threw one from the upper deck that landed on the brim of some guys cowboy hat in the first row :P

  • That is awesome! Did the guy find out?

I think one of these days, they should do a Guiness Book of Records thing where they gather tens of thousands of people, and have them all launch paper airplanes simultaneously. Everyone would need to wear eye goggles, of course.

    :-)

  • hahaha holy cwap!!!! those things flew!

  • Thanks James! :-)

  • Do you know how I would love to do that?

  • Then do it, Shannon! Do it! :-)

  • Ok when you hear a knock on your door, and you see me ther. I don't want to hear go "go away Shannon with you little paper airplane".

  • LOL! I won't. In fact, I'll give you a big hug, lead to out to the balcony, then launch a few planes with you! :-)

  • Wow! That was an incredible flight! I'm also amazed you were able to recover them.

  • Thanks Ed! The recovery was actually easier than we thought. Went went downstairs, and saw them all scattered around. The first time was pretty exciting! :-)

  • Wow that was a good one!

  • Thank you! :-)

  • I keep my frisbees flying just like that, back and forth, ha ha!!

    *not true*

are those planes pointy? Lethal, I´d say

    Cheers mate

  • Cool! Frisbees! You should make a vid of you flying them!

(or have you already, and i'm being totally lame for not knowing it)

    :-)

  • I actually did one frisbee film but thatw as in the old days when (1) I wasn't any good (which I still ain't) and (2) youtube video quality was only high and my exporting skills were not!!!

    I'll do it

  • Awesome! Can't wait to see it! :-)

  • Don't you need a special license to fly those at such a high altitude?

    ;-P

  • Yes... the License to Kill... and I have it.

At least that's what I'll be telling the judge through my attorney when I get sued.

    :-)

  • Wow, that flew really well. You'll have to publish your design, so that we can all have a try :)

  • I think it's a combination of design, the right about of wind, and the fact we're a few stories above ground. Minus the latter, the plane probably would've just crashed. :-)

  • I feel like making a paper airplane now :D

  • Do it, Kelly! Do it! :-)

  • you are a master engineer of paper sir!

  • OMG! THANK YOU!

It's not the same, is it? :-)

  • Gotta love that sweet view. Gotta make the most of it!

How environmentally responsible of you guys to go back and retrieve your paper planes!

Yet how socially irresponsible to threaten the citizens down below with your high-velocity, eye-gouging, origami weapons of death!

Haha, I'm kidding. I enjoyed this, Tony.

  • Thanks Reg. And we dedicated all our planes to Godzilla, and laughed as we watched the citizens below ran for dear life while paper airplanes outfitted with needles hunted them down.

    Muahahahahah!

    Ummm... I mean... nuh-huh!

    :-)

  • woah! that got some serious air time!

  • I know right? See... I may not do the trampoline, but I do the paper airplanes! :-)

  • Tony that was fun. You always share so much cool stuff with us. I hope you are enjoying your Sunday night and I would like to wish you a very Happy Memorial Day tomorrow. God bless you and your family. Please share more Paper Airplanes.

  • Thanks Joe! You are always so kind with your comments. We did take more paper airplane videos, so maybe we will share them in the future! :-)

  • I suppose mostly i'm ok, I,d be better if i could manage to get a certain awesome person to believe i would never say or do anything to hurt them.

  • Awesome! That looks like fun! Your plane really kept going Tony :)

  • It was fun! And the plane did fly, didn't it? We had some that went even further and longer... and others that just died right away. :-)

  • haha nice

  • Thank you! :-)

  • ha ha, cool

  • Thanks! :-)

  • Fly.

  • Flew! :-)

  • Awesome Tony that was great! You are living the dream up there on the 10th floor!!!

  • Thanks Sean! I wouldn't say I'm living the dream-dream, but I certainly can't complain! :-)

  • Paper airplanes and a bubbles... all kinds of fun we never outgrow :)

  • Exactly... nor should we! The kid inside all of us should never grow up! Thanks Diana! :-)

  • uhhhh how was I not subscribed to you?? lol

  • I blame it on the e-e-e-e-economy! LOL! :-)

  • You should title it 'sickest paper plane" cause that thing had MAD airtime! that was tight :)

  • Agreed.

    Tony... change the title! LOL!

  • Dude! We had some that failed, and others that got more airtime than this one. Chris had one that stayed in the air, and circled a rooftop for at least 30 seconds to a minute. I had one that went on for blocks. It was awesome! :-)

  • Geez i wish i had that time on my hands :P cant believe you brought planes up again later on :O

  • We don't always have leisure time on our hands, but we make time! And, yes, we brought the planes up... some were more damaged than others as you can see. :-)

  • Wait... have to get over the fact that you actually posted a video... O_o

    M'kay. Over it.

Tony's plane sooooaaared! That was very cool! I think there's a finesse to launching your paper plane. Chris sorta chucked it. LOL! (Kidding, Chris. Sorta.)

What a freakin' view!! Good on you guys for retrieving the planes from the street!

  • LOL! It seems like I shock you every time I post a video. Granted they're usually months apart, but still!

And, yeah... that plane FLEW! Too bad it took a turn and I wasn't able to film it, cause it was still going!

We launched several planes before and after this video was made. When we went downstairs, we spotted our planes everywhere... it was awesome!

    :-)

  • niiiice!!! looks so fun! XD ...i wanna try that sometime :P wait wait, we should try that in NY XD, have a bunch of us throw them at the same time XD :P

  • That would be AWESOME! We should find a building with roof access, and start chucking paper airplanes! LOL! :-)

  • hellz ya!!! and if we cant, lets hope that the hotel where ppl are at has balconies and we could all go on one side and chuck 'em there :P and at least that way we could have someone on the ground filming it lol ^_^

  • That was an awesome airplane XD

  • Thanks! We had a good time! :-)

  • Hello Mr projectblog, hope your doing well. Im as unpopular as ever, are you like a rich dude or what.

  • Hi Mr. roadamerica. I'm doing great! How about you? And, no, I'm neither popular nor rich. :-)

  • those are some sweet looking airplanes!

  • Thanks, Sam! See... this is the kind of stuff you could be doing if you visit! ;-)

  • wow! that flew great!

  • Thanks! We got some good airtime... although there were others that were total flops! :-)

  • We you aiming at something? :-P

  • Nothing in particular... just... straight out! :-)

  • you actually went out and found them? nice!

  • Yes we did. It was fun! :-)

  • Upper floor littering,great idea.

  • Who are you to talk? You litter from higher altitudes in your flying saucer! :-)

  • But I leave large dissected cattle carcasses right where I work on them, I feed buzzards F'crying out loud...

  • Ya know, I think I flew that airline once. I'm glad you guys had such a great time over the extended weekend! Now I have to go find my lugage!

    Scott

  • Thank you for plying paper airlines. We know you had a choice when choosing who to fly, so we appreciate you! :-)
