Very nice shot. Shame that the white smoke and steam caused auto-exposure to suddenly darken everything! If you have manual control you can get round this by fixing the exposure.
@gainsbourg66 thanks , ive not had this camcorder long its a canon sd memory card digital , it has problems , when i first used it i tried manual everything , the results were poor . i have noticed this problem , i think it maybe white balance or as you say auto exposure. also it was early morning very dull shooting down into a tree and bridge lined area , plus the loco was about 70 metres away.. it seems to work much better in bright sunlight , which most of the reviews ive read agree
@73096std5 thanks.wind and it was very murky at culvert road , the loco sat back from the signals . its hard to get good definition there in the morning . then it shot off like a whippet . it has to go under the main line then up a small incline to gain the mainline . i will have a look at the shooting , at the incline see if there is anyway i could shoot there . keep filming regards ian
